Hey! I'm Amanda (she/her) and I provide bright and colourful photography for couples in search of a supportive and stress-free photo experience. I get to know my couples and their unique story and work with them every step of the way so they can sit back and enjoy their wedding day knowing I’ve got their back.
But before becoming a wedding photographer, I was just like you! I had my venue booked and I was searching for the perfect person to photograph my wedding day! I wanted someone who was more than just a skilled artist. I wanted someone who could support me and my partner every step of the way and make us feel at ease in front of the camera.
Also as an interracial couple, it was essential that we found a photographer who knew how to capture our love story in a way that honoured our skin tones and celebrated our diversity. But during our search, I was disheartened to discover that the wedding industry lacked diversity. I learned quickly that many couples, especially those who identified as 2SLGBTQIA+, people of colour, or from different backgrounds, were not being equally represented in the industry.
So when I decided to finally become a wedding photographer, I made a commitment to create a supportive environment for my clients and to be as inclusive as possible to all couples, no matter who they love, how they identify, or what they look like.
5 years later, my goal as a wedding photographer remains the same: create a supportive and inclusive wedding photography experience for all couples because I believe that every love story deserves to be told and celebrated. Everything we could have hoped for and more
Amanda is the best of the best!
Amanda took the time to get to know is prior to our ceremony which was really wonderful and a lot of fun. As mentioned, I am camera shy.. so this made a BIG difference!
Throughout the months of planning, Amanda was always there, checking in and offering any advice or recommendations we might need. She was not only our photographer but she became our friend, too!
When it finally came time for our wedding day, having had the chance to get to know her in advance made me feel comfortable and open up in front of the camera. Her style of shooting was not only professional but felt easy and fun! All of our guests (and us!) loved her candid shots throughout the reception - it's so fun to see the day from another set of eyes.
Overall, we are very lucky to have had such an incredible photographer (and new friend!) be apart of our special day. She went above and beyond and has given us beautiful photos and memories for years to come! We can't recommend her enough!

They say " every picture has it's own story. Sometimes you just need a good story teller". The story teller was exactly what Amanda was to us. The pictures she delivered was way beyond what we expected. From our engagement photoshoot to our intimate backyard wedding. We are able to relive every moment just by looking at the pictures she captured. Satisfied customer is an understatement because she went above and beyond especially with all the changes we had due to COVID restrictions. She's always available to answer my calls and respond to my emails promptly. Amanda is beyond professional, creative, talented, friendly and fun. Her energy just creates a good vibe. No dull moments. Before becoming a wedding photographer, I was just like you!
I had my venue booked and now it was time to book my photographer and to be honest, I struggled to find my perfect person.
I wanted someone who cared about me as a human, made me feel comfortable in front of the camera, and someone I could vibe with! I also wanted someone who answered my wedding planning questions because planning was overwhelming! And to be honest, I didn't find exactly who I wanted and so when I become a wedding photographer I focused on becoming who I needed, not only on my wedding day, but in the weeks prior.
