The best decision we made was hiring Michael to be our wedding photographer.

Our wedding day was cold and rainy, but Michael was unbothered by the weather and took the most beautiful photos. As he said to us, rain adds something special to your wedding photos. BOY was he right!

My husband and I were able to be our quirky-selves and felt comfortable the entire time.

I have no words to describe the work Michael does, his pictures truly speak for themselves, we could say they are beautiful but it seems like too simple of a words. HE IS AMAZING. From his personality to work ethic, we didn't have to worry about missing moments in our day. We woke up on a cold October morning with the rain pouring and he was not phased in the slightest. We had so much fun being ourselves, and he caught every moment perfectly. The smiles, the laughs, the awkward moments and the cries. He captured it all. He never missed a beat, he even caught my husband tripping on the dock in perfect momentum, and the laughs we had after that moment. He caught the moments we didn't even know we needed. He has quite the eye and working with him was one of the best experiences. He made everything so easy and always has great ideas.

Michael was professional and extremely accommodating for our wedding day in July of 2021. Despite all the circumstances with the pandemic, I wouldn't of asked for a better photographer! He was so much fun to work with and our photos turned out so beautiful! I would highly recommend to book with him as the photos are great quality and for a great value. We were referred to Mike through a family member. We were told that he was the best of the best and would be very happy. From the moment we met him, we knew we wanted him to be part of our big day. Mike was so professional yet made the whole experience fun and easy. Mike was so helpful and even gave recommendations for other vendors. The day of the wedding, he gave us a timeline for the day which helped us stay on track and made the day perfect. The pictures he took were all amazing and we are so happy we went with him. I can say with the upmost genuine honesty that I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to Mike Kaiser. Let me give you a quick back story…I got married during the pandemic (September 5th), and with less than 4 months to plan. From the first call, Mike eased my panicked state and took on the challenge no questions asked. What I quickly discovered was that Mike was not only an extremely talented photographer (which is why I called him in the first place), but literally a wedding planner. This man knows the Sudbury wedding network better than anyone, and recommended and helped us find vendors who fit our needs perfectly. He met with us countless times, he met with our vendors to ensure everyone was on the same page, he went to both the ceremony and reception locations in advance to ensure that all details were being considered and addressed (while also scoping out photo opportunities)…I am telling you…he does it all.
He is also unbelievably kind, personable and approachable. He was always available to support and problem solve during every stage (and let me tell you…that was huge in and of itself). He created the itinerary for the day to ensure that everything that was important to us got accomplished (including all of the photos that we wanted to make sure were captured). When things, which were out of our control, derailed the schedule, he quickly adapted it in the moment while also keeping us (me) unbelievably calm. When it started to rain during my outdoor ceremony, to no surprise and without skipping a beat, Mike equipped every single person with umbrellas that he had personally brought (which matched and made gorgeous photos to boot). He honestly thought of everything and was prepared for everything.
I realize that I have spent this entire review raving about Mike as a person, but regarding the main reason we hired him, the photos are absolutely mindblowing. The attention to detail in the editing is perfection, and his creative and artistic eye is second to none and results in photos that don’t look like every other quintessential engagement and wedding photo. Our album is now filled with an engagement shoot like no other, including paddle boarding drone shots and gorgeous campfire moments taken at our family cottage, followed by wedding shots that include beautifully dewy fields and forest settings, as well as the absolute coolest brewery shots amongst the perfectly lit beer tanks. The memories in these photos encompass myself and my husband in a way that is so incredibly special. I have never heard so many compliments on photos. Honestly…check out his work and you will see what I am talking about.
Mike doesn’t need this review. His talent, his work, and his reputation speaks for itself. But I would be doing a disservice to not highlight how spectacular this man is. If you have the honor of having him as a part of your big day, you will not regret it for a second. Best phone call I could have made.

We made the decision to get married in a pandemic, we knew it wouldn't be easy. We chose a date and the pandemic decided the rest as with most couples.

Amidst the constant changing of plans, restrictions, guest list revisions, a postponement and other speed bumps, our photographer was our one constant. We are honestly so grateful and happy to have had the pleasure of Mike as our photographer.

We are not used to having all the focus, all the attention and all the excitement directed our way. Mike made us feel comfortable, relaxed and at ease. If we were ever unsure, he’d provide direction. If we started to tense up and become self-conscious, he’d make us do something goofy, natural and fun.

Mike honestly went above and beyond for us. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing photographer, and a genuinely nice person, to capture their special day. Our photos are amazing and his fun and professional attitude made things less stressful and more enjoyable, in a pandemic no less!

We very much enjoyed our time with Mike and also feel like a friendship was formed. We often had to force ourselves to leave our get-togethers because we couldn't stop talking to Mike. Mike always had the utmost patience with us and if we ever need photos for a big life moment again, we know exactly who to call.

I have known Mike for a few years now, he shot two of my friends' weddings. So when it came time for us to choose a photographer for our own wedding, it was a no-brainer! Apart from being so fun and easy to work with, he is very professional and accommodating. Our wedding plans changed a few times due to limits on social gatherings and travel, and during this time he was so understanding and supportive, and went above and beyond for us. Having him photograph and document our wedding day was like having another friend around! We are so in love with all of the photos from our special day - they are real, bright and fun, and capture the day perfectly!

Mike was absolutely amazing throughout this whole process. I first looked at his pictures online, and fell in love with how unique they were. Mike came out to our favorite spot in Alban to shoot our engagement photos (which i absolutely adore) and he helped me pick the perfect spot for our wedding pictures (indoors and outdoors). The best thing about my wedding day was the fact that Mike had someone assist him in taking pictures of my ceremony (as I wanted a specific photo taken).
