Owned by husband-and-wife duo Trevor and Monika, Ackland Photography specializes in wedding photography. Passionate about life and love, Trevor and Monika photograph natural and relationship-oriented images to portray love stories. Born and raised in Haliburton, Ontario, Monika describes her style as unobtrusive and candid. Trevor grew up in Whitby, Ontario, and perfectly complements Monika’s approach to provide couples with a well-rounded collection of images. In 2012, they decided to cover weddings together and haven’t looked back.

Services offered

Trevor and Monika have tailored their wedding collections to reflect what couples really want for their special day. Their collections (Elite, Signature, Classic, and Essentials) include the following: -

• 6-12 hours wedding day coverage
• Two photographers
• Unlimited images, hand-retouched and provided on USB
• Engagement session
• A gorgeous 18x12 press-printed album
• A stop motion video, highlighting up to 800 images

How they work

Ackland Photography uses only professional-grade equipment to properly capture weddings, including Canon 5D Mark IIs, 24-70mm 2.8, 70-200mm 2.8, 35mm 1.4, 50mm 1.4, and 135mm 2.0, among others. A full range of speedlights, strobes, and accessories are also utilized. Couples will receive approximately 600-800 images for 8-hour coverage within six to eight weeks following their wedding. Teaser images are provided within one week.

Other services

Although they are focused on wedding photography, Trevor and Monika also conduct a limited number of lifestyle sessions and host many themed mini events throughout the year.

Areas covered

Ackland Photography offers services west to Toronto, east to Kingston, and north to the Muskokas. The team is ready to travel across Ontario. A travel fee is applied outside these areas.
