Wedding officiated in mid-August 2025
I have been wanting to write this testimonial for Rev. Gerald J. Taillefer since the day our wedding ceremony ended — thanks to him — perfectly. Although it took me a while to finally sit down and write this, my gratitude has never faded.
From the very beginning, Rev. Gérard impressed us with his great professionalism and extremely quick responses to every email. We are truly thankful that he accepted our case. He fulfilled every expectation and every image I had in my heart — for many years — of what my wedding officiant should be like. He truly brought the perfect ending to our wedding day.
Once he accepted our case, he immediately sent us clear and detailed instructions, asking for our personal information, preferences, and even how personalized we would like our ceremony to be. We felt truly cared for — it wasn’t just a standard ceremony, but rather a ceremony crafted especially for us.
Not long after, he sent us the first draft of the ceremony script. After our feedback and discussion, he kindly made the revisions and encouraged us to add our favorite elements into the ceremony. This made our participation and involvement in the ceremony very high, and the final version truly reflected who we are as a couple. It felt personal, meaningful, and unique — exactly what we had hoped for.
What touched us most was his calming and reassuring presence. Wedding planning can be stressful and overwhelming — and we were often anxious. But every time we communicated with Rev. Gérald, his calm voice and encouraging words would bring peace to our hearts. He always told us, “Everything will go smoothly. Don’t worry.” And indeed, everything did.
On our wedding day — an extremely hot August afternoon for an outdoor ceremony — Rev. Gérard and his wife (who is also an officiant) arrived very early to prepare. Rev. Gérard wore formal attire despite the heat. We saw the sweat running down his forehead, and it made us feel deeply grateful. We kept asking him to stay hydrated with the coconut water offered on site, but he remained completely professional, composed, and smiling — as if he were attending a family member’s important celebration, sharing joy with us.
We originally invited him and his wife to stay for luncheon, but they kindly declined because his wife had another wedding to officiate later that afternoon. Even so, the sincerity, kindness, and warmth they brought to our ceremony will stay in our hearts forever.
Words are not enough to express our gratitude to them.
Rev. Gérard helped us create the wedding ceremony we had dreamed of for many years.
We feel blessed to have found him — and we highly, wholeheartedly recommend him to any couple looking for a thoughtful, professional, and truly caring officiant.

Reverand Gerald was the Officiant for our wedding recently and he did an amazing job! We were married at the Sheraton North hotel in one of their ballrooms and he came highly recommended by the event coordinator there. He helped guide us through the process leading up to our wedding and provided invaluable guidance and information. He was so warm and kind and truly helped make our wedding day so special. On the day of, Reverand Gerald and his wife Reverand Angela, were so helpful and amazing, we really could not have asked for a better experience. We had the absolute pleasure of having Reverend Gerald officiate our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From our very first conversation, he was warm, professional, and incredibly easy to work with.
He sends a helpful ceremony template to get you started, and then works closely with you to personalize everything so it truly reflects your story. He checks in to make sure every detail is to your liking, which gave us so much peace of mind leading up to the big day. He even sent over the whole ceremony guide, and was so kind and patient with all of my requests (I had very specific things I wanted included, and he ensured they were all in there!)
Reverend Gerald is super friendly, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making your wedding ceremony so special and personalized. His lovely wife Angela captured some beautiful candid photos and shared them with us after the wedding which was so sweet!
We’re so grateful to have had Gerald as our officiant. Highly recommend him to any couple looking for someone kind, attentive, and experienced to guide them through such an important moment.
