We’re so incredibly grateful to Rhona and the team at Young Hip & Married for helping make our wedding ceremony everything we dreamed of - and more.
Originally, we were planning to go through the provincial registry for a simple service, but a friend’s recommendation led us to Young Hip & Married, and we’re so glad it did. From the moment we reached out, the process was incredibly thoughtful and easy. We shared our date and a bit about the kind of ceremony we were hoping for, and the team came back with a few officiants who were available and a good fit. After reading through their bios and reviews, we had an introductory call with Rhona - and the rest was history.
Rhona brought such warmth, kindness, and genuine joy to the process. She worked with us to shape a ceremony that truly felt like us - playful, loving, heartfelt, and full of personality. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, but there was also plenty of laughter, which was exactly the energy we hoped to start our marriage with.
The Young Hip & Married team was organized, thoughtful, and seamless throughout. We also took their vow-writing course, which turned out to be a fantastic resource - it gave us the structure and confidence to write personal vows that reflected our love and commitment. Hearing each other’s vows on the day ended up being one of the most moving parts of the ceremony.
We’re so thankful we chose to work with a company that specializes in making this part of the wedding truly meaningful. Thank you again to Rhona and the whole Young Hip & Married team for helping us begin our marriage with so much love and joy. -

We had such a wonderful experience working with our wedding officiant team from start to finish! We first met Shawn at a wedding show, where he gave us a guidebook for writing our vows, and that thoughtful first interaction really stood out to us.
From the initial process of reaching out to Young Hip and Married, everything was seamless. Pia was quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and provided detailed answers to all of our questions. I guess it was fate that we were matched with Shawn, and we couldn’t have been happier with the pairing.
Shawn was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was personable, patient, and genuinely invested in making our ceremony feel special and personal to us. He even scheduled calls outside of his usual availability to accommodate our schedules, which we really appreciated. Although we didn’t book a rehearsal, we felt completely comfortable and confident going into our wedding day because of the guidance and reassurance Shawn provided during our final call.
We had an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding, and Shawn went above and beyond to incorporate our theme into the ceremony while still making it feel natural and meaningful. He created a beautifully personalized script that reflected who we are as a couple and fit perfectly with the atmosphere we wanted for our wedding.
The cost is on the higher side compared to some other officiant options, but we truly felt that what they deliver was worth the investment. From the communication and planning support to the personalized ceremony and level of care, the service felt very thorough and professional. You’re not just paying for someone to show up and officiate, you’re getting someone who takes the time to understand you as a couple and make your ceremony feel uniquely yours.
We are so grateful to have had Shawn officiate our ceremony. His attention to detail, flexibility, and genuine care made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend Shawn to any couple looking for an officiant. -

We were so grateful to have Melinda Orlowski as our officiant. She was so professional and kind, and helped us create the perfect day! Melinda talked us through the whole day and asked very attentive and observant to help match the ceremony to our vibes. We went through multiple drafts and she really did a perfect job making sure it was just right. I really could not recommend her enough, your wedding is in perfect hands with her! -

We had such a beautiful ceremony, thanks to Young Hip & Married!
Shawn was wonderful to work with. He even checked in on us the day before the wedding to see how we were feeling, which really helped calm our pre-wedding jitters! On the day, he guided us every step of the way, making everything feel so easy and natural. Our guests especially loved hearing our story, and many told us afterward how heartfelt the ceremony was.
We're so grateful for the experience and couldn't have imagined our ceremony any other way. :) -
