From our very first interaction, we knew Cory was the perfect person to marry us. He immediately made us feel comfortable and felt like part of the family from day one. There was never a single awkward moment—just genuine conversations and excitement for our wedding.
Cory took the time to get to know us by asking thoughtful, detailed questions so he could create a ceremony that truly reflected our relationship. It was obvious how much he cared about making our ceremony personal and meaningful, rather than just reading from a script.
He struck the perfect balance between humour and heartfelt emotion. Our ceremony was romantic, engaging, and filled with so many genuine moments that had our guests both laughing and tearing up.
One thing we appreciated most was how supported we felt throughout the entire process. Cory always had our backs, whether it was answering questions leading up to the wedding or quietly guiding us through the ceremony itself. He brought such a calming presence that allowed us to relax and simply enjoy every moment.

Cory performed our wedding ceremony and supported us through some hiccups leading up to our day.

We are very happy we chose Cory Dueck for our wedding even though we had other options close by. He is very fun and easy to connect and work with from start to finish. We love how we were able to customize the ceremony to fit what we wanted as a couple and how he gave us plenty of tips leading up to our wedding day. One of the things we really loved about Cory was how calming his voice and presence was during the ceremony and how he would whisper words of encouragement which helped calmed our nerves. We had Cory officiate our wedding, and my husband and I are both so happy we did so! From the first online meeting it was clear that Cory is very passionate about what he does, and made the process of preparing for the wedding smooth and enjoyable. He did an amazing job telling our story during the ceremony; we had many people approach us at the reception to tell us how engaging and personal the ceremony was. A few people asked us if he was a family member as he appeared to know us so well! His confidence helped my husband and I feel more at ease during the process. Cory was an amazing officiant. He was very professional and took the time to memorize our story, which he delivered in a thoughtful and engaging way, perfectly balanced with humour. He was kind, considerate, and attentive to every detail, which made the ceremony feel very personal and meaningful. He even drove all the way to Calgary to officiate and bless our ceremony, which we truly appreciated. If you’re looking for an officiant that will make your ceremony actually feel fun and personal instead of robotic and awkward… BOOK DAVID 👏
He seriously made the whole process so easy from start to finish. Super organized, easy to talk to, funny, and knew exactly how to keep the ceremony flowing naturally. He had the perfect balance of jokes, sweet moments, and making everyone feel comfortable. Even my nervous husband relaxed once the ceremony started LOL.
You can tell David genuinely cares and puts effort into making your ceremony feel unique to you instead of sounding copied and pasted.

An Amazing Marriage Commissioner Experience
We had a wonderful experience with our marriage commissioner, Anastasiia. We got married in Lloydminster, Alberta, and everything was organized so professionally and smoothly.
