We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to have married us. Shawna is incredible at what she does. She personally called us the evening we had sent a message on availability & from that initial phone call we didn’t need time to think! She is super understanding with life and the planning process - both my husband and I work shift work & often out of service so it was relieving to have her so accommodating. She made our planning process so simple and not at all stressful but enjoyable, she was the reminder in all the chaos to enjoy ourselves through it. Shawna made our ceremony so personal like she’d known us from years before. I cannot vouch enough on how simple she made the process for us and no matter what happens on the wedding day, she’s prepared and on the ball. Always a phone call or text away, and would respond in a heartbeat. She provides so much other information to settle you into your new chapter and you never had to worry about a single thing. Thank you so much for your kind words. You and Bryan were such a fun couple to work with and even though you both work in remote areas where connectivity wasn't always great, we managed to sail through each step of the process smoothly.
I was very honoured to be a part of your day for a couple reasons; obviously because watching you two join your hearts and lives and pledge "forever together" was magical, but also because as we got to know one another, we made a connection between my husband and his hunting buddies and your family business...a 25+ year relationship which my husband holds dear. He misses your dad at the float base and was so excited to hear that you were holding your wedding there.

She was very professional and had different budget options. Always answering in a timely manner. she came dressed appropriately and was kind and helpful. -

We decided to get married while I was visiting my (now) wife on vacation before traveling to another province. Shawna got back to us within an hour late at night and was able to schedule to marry us in just two days time. Originally it was supposed to be the next day but she was also very flexible and accommodating to our plans changing. We didn't have any witnesses so as she was walking to us to meet in a nice spot at Kildonan Park, she met a couple who were on a walk who agreed to be our witnesses on the spot. Overall a wonderful experience and we would greatly recommend Shawna's services.Weddingbella's reply:
Ahhh....you're ceremony was a new one for me!! I've had "witness lotteries" where I've pulled names out of a hat, or "can I get a witness" game during ceremonies, but I've never plucked complete strangers off a park bridge on a Sunday morning before! Had a tight window we needed to get married and not a lot of notice but Shawna called very soon after I reached out to her and she was able to help us. We just had a simple signing but she made it very specialWeddingbella's reply:
Lilya and Andrei....I am SO happy that you reached out to me and between the two of us, we were make your 26 hour window to secure a marriage license and get you two married in time. While I wasn't able to provide you with the license, the legal wedding at Tim Hortons the following day was fun! Lianne and Kai, my clients that day were thrilled to be your witnesses and you looked like a beautiful blushing Bride holding the flowers Lianne bought for you. A touching last minute ceremony
Shawna from Wedding Bella was able to squeeze my fiance and me in for a quick ceremony within days. She was warm, friendly and gracious, and really knew how to direct the ceremony. Although it was quick, the ceremony was moving and special. Shawna is the consummate professional, and is warm and caring. The cost was very reasonable, and well worth it. 10/10!Weddingbella's reply:

The Quickie ceremony at your friends house was exactly what you wanted before you celebrate with friends and family later in June (this weekend I believe is your symbolic ceremony). You and Delia are clearly in love and were ready to take the next step in your relationship. I'm glad that I was able to make room in my calendar for you lovebirds. Clarence was a blessing I never saw coming!! After I discovered that he could play piano by just hearing a song once, my mind went into high gear and we came up with Canon in D Major, which he played beautifully leading up to your "I do's". Thank you for choosing me as your Officiant. Wishing you both many years of love and happiness. -

Shawna has an amazing way of keeping things fun and personable, while remaining very professional at the same time. Her method of personalizing a ceremony is very flexible and easy, with so much room to fine-tune to exactly how you want it. Most of all, working with her was so much fun and stress-free! We opted for her most basic package, as we were looking for a simple and intimate ceremony but she elevated the entire experience far beyond our expectations.
Despite the ceremony being brief, she made every moment feel intentional, polished, and meaningful. Her professionalism, calm presence, and attention to detail created such a seamless and elegant flow that it never felt rushed, only refined.
She was incredibly organized, responsive, and accommodating throughout the process, making everything stress-free and easy for us. It’s rare to find someone who can deliver such quality and grace, even within a short timeframe and a modest package.
