Alex was a pleasure to work with. He was diligent, professional and responsive. We wanted to incorporate Korean elements into our western ceremony to honour my husband’s parents and his heritage but did not know how. Additionally, we wanted to ensure that part of the ceremony was in Korean for his parents. Alex helped on both accounts. He is bilingual and he helped us think through a meaningful incorporation of Korean traditions into our ceremony. Our guests appreciated his warmth and humour, as did we. -

Alex was exactly what we were looking for - a well spoken, casual, relaxed officiant. The process was very simple - we found him on Wedding Wire and got the 'customizable' package, where we were able to meet via Zoom several times to coordinate the day and the ceremony down to the letter. My partner is very detail-oriented, but Alex was so kind and accommodating, and was very open to any changes we wanted to make. More importantly, he was easy to understand, and our guests responded well to his style and sense of humour during the ceremony. Thanks so much, Alex, for helping make our day great. -

Since my wife's family is Korean and speaks only a little bit of English, a big focus for us was making sure we had our ceremony in both languages. Alex was very easy to work with and gave us so much good advice on all the different ways to approach the ceremony and our vows. He has a very calming and chill presence, and was an amazing help in translating some of my vows into Korean and getting the tone just right. Our parents were all very impressed with Alex as our officiant and all said he an exceptional job.
One thing I'll suggest for anyone getting married is to make sure you get the marriage license ready early!! A couple of our friends who got married recently said they messed up on this too, so it seems like this is one of those critical items on the checklist that's really easy to forget. Alex definitely mentioned it to us when we first met with him... and we should have written that down! We were reminded a month before the wedding and managed to get it done in time, but please don't do that to yourselves haha.
I couldn't recommend Alex enough, he was a huge part of making our ceremony and our big day truly amazing. Thank you so much Alex. -

Alex was incredibly kind from the very beginning to the end. English is my second language, which made me a bit nervous, but he thoughtfully noticed this and adjusted his speaking pace perfectly for me during the ceremony.
More than anything, I could feel that he was genuinely celebrating with us. It wasn't just a formal, scripted procedure—his sincerity was deeply moving, and I am so incredibly grateful for that. I highly recommend Alex to any couple looking for an officiant. My only regret is that I couldn't give him a better gift to show my full appreciation. Thank you so much for everything, Alex! -

Alex was very responsive and accommodating to what we wanted out of our ceremony. His calm demeanor is very helpful for the nerves and is knowledgeable of what needs to get done! Highly recommend- definitely contributed to our ceremony being the highlight of the day. -

My (now) wife and I hired Alex for a small bilingual ceremony in English and Korean. He arrived on time, spoke with all of the guests, said some beautiful words in both languages, and generally made sure the whole thing ran smoothly. We would happily recommend to others.
