A Wonderful Night was Made More Beautiful By Tracy
We had a wonderful experience with Tracy Sweet as our wedding officiant. She was very punctual, flexible, and incredibly easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. Tracy has such a sweet and friendly personality, which made everyone feel comfortable right away. She was very approachable and kind with both us and our guests. Everything during the ceremony went smoothly because of her professionalism. We are truly grateful she officiated our wedding and would highly recommend her to anyone. -

Very professional in the business.
I can’t describe Tracy other than being professional. Very responsive and responsible officiant. Most of all very flexible on schedules. -

Tracy was highly recommended by a friend who had her as their officiant, so I reached out to ask if she could do our ceremony—and she kindly agreed. She is truly wonderful: attentive, accommodating, and always ensured that every detail reflected what I envisioned as the bride. She answered all my questions with patience and professionalism, and her warm personality made her so easy to work with. Overall, my husband and I couldn’t be happier to have had Tracy be such an important part of our special day. Thank you again, Tracy!-

Beautiful ceremony
We had the pleasure of booking Tracy for our wedding in June. We were unfortunately married on one of the hottest days of the year, which was starting to make me nervous as we had planned to have Tracy officiate as well as play the harp for our ceremony. We confirmed with Tracy there would be a spot in the complete shade for her and her harp to set up. She was very professional and well spoken. And her harp playing was an added cherry on top of a beautiful ceremony. It made all my dreams come true. Thank you Tracy for being so understanding and accommodating during this already stressful time! After our marriage was official, Tracey gave us a print out of information on how to register for a certificate of marriage since I was looking to change my name and timeline estimates etc. It was above and beyond and much appreciated! I would highly recommend Tracy and her services of both harp and officiating. Thanks Tracy! -

Very Informative and Professional
Tracy gave us all the relevant information we needed at our first meeting so we were well prepared. She told us things we didn't know about the wedding which was helpful. We also had her play the Harp and she did a great job at that also. We'd highly recommend her. -

I would recommend Tracy!
Tracy was great from the beginning. Very flexible in meeting with us and sent us the script and things we needed well in advance. On the day of she read exactly what was in the script and she even stood to the side so she isn't in the background of every photo. I would definitely recommend using Tracy's services for your wedding. -

Short notice officiant
The City of London cancelled our wedding 6 days before it was scheduled. I contacted Tracy and she responded immediately and was available to officiate our wedding. She truly saved the day! I am so glad she was our officiant - we loved the vows she read for us and could not be happier with how the wedding went. Thank you Tracy! -

She made a complete mockery of our wedding
If I could give her zero stars I would.
I hired her January 31, 2024 for my December 2024 wedding.
After initial talks, and her apparent false warmness towards us, we sent her a custom script – we were told it's kind of short, but we were fine with that, it was literally the two of us and our witnesses, we made our script special to us, used verbiage important to us, etc.
A week before the wedding I get an email from her that she's lost our script, please resend. So, I did.
A few days before the wedding I'm informed that her laptop is at Staples so we'll have to print it out for her – slight problem with that, we don't have a printer, I also had just recently fell, dislocated and double fractured my shoulder and was not about to spend $30 to Uber to Staples to get a printout for her when we just paid her $400? My husband wasn't able to print it at work, his witness wasn't able to print it as she ran out of ink. Day of the wedding I even tried to send to the venue but it was not working from my phone – so we agreed she would just read it off my phone.
Not only did she change words we had specifically included that were important to us, mid-way through the script she had us do the paperwork signing (??), then she just skipped over everything else from that point on and nothing was how we had asked, and had the AUDACITY to ask me to send her $50 for UPS shipping for the licence to be mailed – which we had already agreed upon days before this? It did not need to be mentioned during our wedding ceremony??
She even told the photographer to not get her in any photos?
She didn't even bother to take her coat off and left promptly after she handed us the temporary licence.
I sent her the additional $50 the following day and asked when she sends it off to please send us a copy of the receipt and give us the tracking number.
No response.
I followed up on Tuesday the 24th to ask if it had been sent off the day prior (she told us it had to be in the mail within 48 hours, and I was under the impression we had agreed it was being mailed on the 23rd via UPS and even though it's a government office, UPS would hold the package given the holidays?)
It wasn't until the 26th that I got a very VERY unprofessional response from her telling me she was not mailing it until later (when?) and "If it's delivered and no one is there then it will be returned to me, is that what you want?" and then I was told to not contact her again.
It was December 30th that I received a text that she was going away for a few days but was mailing our documents that day. Later that night I got a zoomed in receipt with what we thought was a tracking number – but it was just a register code.
I reached out to her January 2 asking for her to provide the tracking number as this was part of our agreement and as of January 9 she is still refusing to do so.
I called the Office of the Registrar General and was told that IF they get the documents, they will not mark it null and void, but to ensure they don't, I should apply NOW for the marriage certificate so that when they get to our application in 8-12 weeks, they'll either have the licence or they won't and if they don't will start an investigation to request proof we actually had the ceremony and said the vows.
I also called all UPS locations within the vicinity of her house and none of them had any package that went out December 30th to Thunder Bay. I was also informed by the manager at one of the UPS locations that it is regulation she provide us with a photo of the mailing label and tracking number since she was mailing it on our behalf – which at time of writing this she has still refused to do.
Since I have not heard from her with any proof she mailed off our licence as we paid her to do, I downloaded the registered list of officiants off the Ontario.ca website and found out which organization she is a member of to be an officiant. As of today (January 9) I have spoken with one of the Directors of the Christian Ministers Association and informed him of everything that has transpired – she is lying to one of us because she has told him she mailed our licence on December 27, and she told me the 30th. I'm awaiting a call back from him after his meeting with her this evening.
If we do not get proof she mailed the licence since we paid for tracked shipping, and she did not perform her duties per our script (which was SHORT!) as we hired her to do, next steps is that I have my bank on the ready to open a fraud investigation into the financial transactions with her.
If you don't care about your ceremony, just want something cookie cutter bit bam boo or she just wants to make up on the fly with I do I do, and aren't concerned whatsoever with IF she mails off your licence, then hire her.
A year and a half of planning a magical day for my husband and I and I'm beyond heartbroken how she made a mockery of our wedding. I realize the main thing is we're married, we're in love, but there were specific words that were important to us that we wanted said on OUR day, it wasn't Tracy's day, it was ours and she took that away from us. And now we continue the 12-week wait with the Marriage Office to see IF they got the licence and if not, we have the ordeal of providing proof of what a sham this was for us. -
