Rev. Barbara Kawa is an Angel

Rev. Barbara is an angel. She was so easy to work with, professional, showed up on time and flexible whenever we had any changes. Before our big day, we had sent her our personal vows to look over and she reassured us that it was perfect. On our actual wedding day, her voice and demeanor helped calm us both down as we were super nervous walking down the aisle. She lead our ceremony with ease and it turned out amazing as we had incorporated our fur babies as part of our vows. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a fun and easy-going officiant! Wonderful experience with Barbara

The Mindful Choices process was easy and worry free from start to finish! We chose Barbara to officiate our COVID wedding. It was simple wedding. I emailed her last minute to change ceremony timing and she accepted it right away. Her presence and professionalism elevated our ceremony. Her confident, yet calming demeanour put everyone at ease; bringing out laughter, big smiles, and fun talking amongst us. It was absolutely wonderful to have Barbara there with us - thank you!

Pandemic Wedding

Barbara was a sweetheart and from day one was attentive to our needs. We wanted a simple signing ceremony which was originally supposed to be in our home with a few friends. That quickly changed last minute with the lockdown to a park as no one was allowed inside. We chose a last minute Kariya Park venue and added the exchange of rings last minute, she was able to accommodate everything! Feedback from my family is she truly made the day with her humour and was the perfect officiant for our day! It was also the first snowfall of the year but nothing stopped us! Thank you Barbara for everything :)

Barbara was so accommodating and kind. She made the process so effortless and stress free. We had a hiccup during our actual wedding date and she was very understanding and helped us a lot. She's super respectful of all cultures. The best choice for an officiant!

Barbara was absolutely amazing!!

Barbara was fantastic! She was outgoing and her personality really matched ours which was nice. She was also very open so that our personalities could come through during the ceremony. Barbara was punctual for the ceremony which was great. She was also a very easy person to work with, pre-ceremony. A communication took place via email, she sent the vows and allowed us to pick specifics to cater to us and to make it personal, she was very prompt with her replies and so open to customizing and changes. It was a pleasure to work Barbara, weddings can be stressful and she made it very easy.

exactly what we needed!

Barbara was AMAZING in accommodating us with exactly what we wanted in a simple ceremony. She responded so quickly, was an absolutely WONDERFUL woman and such a pleasure to work with! Wonderful, accommodating, and just what we needed

Barbara officiated our wedding at our home. She was accommodating when things did not go as planned and was very pleasant. She had great communication with us leading up to the date and everything went as planned. We really appreciated her variety of sample vows and rings exchanges to personalize our ceremony and loved all the suggestions she had. She was great and you will be very happy having her officiate your wedding!!!

Barbara can legally perform weddings in the provinces of Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. She loves weddings and everything about them and loves to help couples commemorate their special occasion. Rev. Barbara can help you create the ceremony of your dreams, bringing the love couples have for eachother into a memorable ceremony. She incorporates your love story into the ceremony, tastefully, and with humour. It has been said that she keeps the couple calm on their wedding day. Rev. Barbara offers premarital counseling to get your life started on the right foot.
