Jodi from Something New stepped in last minute after our initial officiant fell through, and I'm so grateful we found them. Jodi took the care to get to know us, even in a short amount of time, and really personalize the ceremony for us. We were able to give feedback and make edits throughout the process, and we ended up with a ceremony that couldn't have better represented our love and our vision. Jodi was thoughtful, intentional, and inclusive. Guests raved about how beautiful the ceremony was and how well it was delivered. We couldn't be happier! -

Woman with a heart of gold!
Jodi is one of the most compassionate & kind humans we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Every moment spent with Jodi has been delightful & joyous! Jodi wrote our ceremony with us and incorporated a tiny symbolic Hindu ceremony which was so meaningful to me. Her feedback on our vows gave us all the confidence we needed to speak so personally in front of everyone we love. We loved our ceremony full of happy tears & laughs - it was equal parts romantic, sentimental & funny ☺️ Our wedding day fell on the hottest day of the year and Jodi bravely faced the day with us while looking so fabulous! Our special day was enriched for having Jodi officiate. We hope our paths cross again 💕 -

I could write an entire book about our love for Jodi, our officiant from Something New. From the moment we met with her we felt at ease and comfortable and don’t think we could have made it through our day without her. We had initially inquired about a different officiant when we first started booking, and I’m so glad that our Jodi became our person. This team is inclusive, celebrate all forms of love and bring a brightness to everything involved in a wedding. I would absolutely hire Something New again. -

Working with Jodi was wonderful. From the very first meeting, she made us feel comfortable and appreciated. She brought our vision for our ceremony to life and we are truly so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to work with her. My husband and I aren’t super outgoing people, and we thought that standing up at the front of the altar was going to be one of the scariest things we’d have to ever do, but she made us feel so comfortable. We got so many compliments on how wonderful our ceremony was and how great Jodi speaks. I would recommend Jodi’s services to all of my friends. We worked with Tori for our wedding this May and I can't recommend her enough. Tori is incredibly kind, friendly and personable and she brings this energy into her work. You can tell that she is passionate about what she does.
Our ceremony was so lovely, Tori really took the time to get to know us as a couple and understand our relationship to write a ceremony that fit "us". She ensured that the structure of the ceremony included things that we wanted, and equally important, things we didn't want!

Jodi recently officiated our ceremony and she was amazing to work with! She makes you feel like you have been friends forever and really helps to customize your ceremony to suit your relationship. We had to postpone for a year due to COVID and throughout the whole time, Jodi was there to support us and lend a helping hand when needed. We would recommend Jodi to any couple looking for a caring, supportive and fun officiant! -

Jodi was able to accommodate our *very* last minute ceremony, and even made sure to take the time for a Zoom call to get to know us first. The ceremony was exactly what we wanted- short, simple but still lovely! -

We had the best officiant we could ever have asked for! She worked so closely with us to make everything so personal; she knew we love RuPaul, so she worked in some funny references and really got the crowd involved and participating. She was heartfelt and serious at times but then funny and energetic too. She even helped us to do a tequila ceremony and that was a lot of fun! We also wrote our own vows and had some friends and family in the wedding party perform a song while we signed our marriage certificate, so when we watched the wedding video back (while we were away on our honeymoon) we were so struck by how sentimental and intimate everything felt - I cried the whole time. Dean (the groom)'s vows were so perfect and she took the time to look over each of ours to ensure that perfection. He's not used to showing a lot of emotion in front of other people but he really let it all out and I felt so loved. Our friends and family were so blown away and it felt really good to have everyone tell us how magical they thought it was too. At the time, we both felt like the only two people in the world and kind of almost forgot that other people were there too. I really love that Jodiwas able to create that space for us but still allowed enjoyment for our guests. MULTIPLE people commented on how amazing she was! I truly can't recommend her enough. -
