Shelley was really lovely to work with. She is a calming presence during a stressful time. Leading up to our wedding, she was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. We had some last minute changes to our ceremony in the days leading up to the wedding and Shelley booked extra time with us to go through everything. Shelley made sure our ceremony was as close to perfect as it possibly could've been!
We originally wanted our friend to officiate our wedding, but Ontario law makes that extremely difficult to do legally. We found Shelley on Wedding Wire, and she worked with us to give us a custom experience by integrating our friend into our ceremony as much as possible.
Our ceremony was beautiful and personalized!
Shelley made sure to go over every detail with us in the weeks leading up to the ceremony, so on the day of, there was nothing for us to worry about.

Sherry was amazing! She was super responsive to any correspondence. She met with us virtually and walked us through the service. She was on time for the service, she coached my maid of honour and I on how to hold our bouquets for pictures, conducted a beautiful ceremony and then surprised us with a special little gift to remind us of our love throughout the years to come! Shelley is the most sincere officiant we've ever met. She walked us through the entire ceremony process, before and after. She talked to us in depth about our relationship and how we envisioned the ceremony, and got details from our friends and family to write a beautiful and personal ceremony script. She even helped us individually with putting the ideas we had about what we wanted to promise into eloquent vows (Shelley help me write this review!)
Unfortunately she wasn't able to make it to the ceremony last minute due to an emergency, but even then she arranged for a backup officiant without needing any involvement from us and minimized the stress from such a last minute disruption.
She really put us at ease throughout the whole process, and we would recommend her for anyone else getting married.Shelley Kabelin Wedding Officiant's reply:
