My husband and I were married in November, 2025 and the highlight of our perfect day was the ceremony itself, written delivered by the amazing Sarah Hall.
It was important to us that we had an officiant who could perform a ceremony that wasn’t religious, patriarchal, or too new-agey, and that they were someone who was affirming of all kinds of love. But we thought that if we could check all those boxes, that would be good enough.
What we found in Sarah Hall was so much more that we’d ever envisioned and I cannot recommend her enough. She created a personalized ceremony for us that evolved through Zoom discussions that in some instances felt almost like those marriage counselling sessions priests make you attend, but in the very best way – giving us space to really think and talk about what our commitment means and what our ceremony is honouring. My husband and I separately answered a number of thoughtful questions and Sarah used these answers to write our love story. We wrote our own vows which she reviewed and offered detailed feedback on. She felt like an old friend by the time we finally met in person on our wedding day and her delivery was so genuine and heartfelt. One of our wedding guests said it was the best wedding ceremony he’d ever been to and I could not agree more.

Sarah officiated our ‘ceremini’ at home in march 2026 ahead of our destination wedding. She did such an amazing job! Sarah led our civil ceremony with humor and grace, all of our guests thought she did a great job. From the start, Sarah was kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. She helped us tailor a ceremony to exactly what we wanted and let us have such a special moment with our families during our legal ceremony. If you are considering working with Sarah, I would highly recommend! -

Sarah was such a lucky find for us. She was diligent throughout and was so consultative but also became a friend to us. She built a ceremony that felt exactly like us. It was warm, funny, emotional in the right places, and so effortlessly personal that guests kept asking how long she’d known us. She took the time to really understand our story, our dynamic, and the tone we wanted, and she wove it all together in a way that felt intentional instead of cookie-cutter.
Sarah made the entire process feel easy. She guided us through drafts, helped shape the flow, and offered suggestions that pulled everything tighter without ever losing our voice. The ceremony ended up being one of the parts we were most proud of, and it felt so true to who we are as a couple.
On the day, she was incredible - calm, confident, present, and just so genuinely warm. Her delivery was engaging without being performative (our biggest fear), and she struck that perfect balance of heartfelt and light. She kept us grounded through the emotional moments, handled logistics seamlessly, and coordinated smoothly with our DJ and venue so everything ran without a hiccup.
Our guests still talk about her. Many told us it was one of the best ceremonies they’d ever witnessed because it felt real, not generic. That is completely due to Sarah’s talent, care, and attention to detail.
We recommend her wholeheartedly to any couple who wants a ceremony that feels like them - authentic, thoughtful, and beautifully crafted. Sarah didn’t just officiate our wedding… she elevated it. THANK YOU SARAH!!!!!!!!! -

Sarah was our officiant for a private ceremony (cere-mini) and she was fantastic. She was super responsive, including managing up to the wedding date with times and consistent communication. She was incredibly knowledgeable on the entire process and a great resource. Sarah has a fantastic editable script that was the perfect amount of customizable. We definitely recommend Sarah! -

If you're looking for a hands-on officiant, Sarah is who you need. From the very first meeting to the day of the ceremony, Sarah was there to support us every step of the way. Sarah is detail oriented, professional, and really has thought of everything. Most importantly, we felt like Sarah became a friend after working on crafting our ceremony for months together. We really wanted it to feel as though the person who was marrying us knew us as people, and Sarah took the time to do that through our calls and asking the right questions.
After attending handfuls of weddings, we knew exactly what we wanted and Sarah delivered on that. Our ceremony was far from cookie-cutter and was truly tailored for us and our guests. We're so happy we went with Sarah to be our officiant and couldn't recommend her enough.
Sarah, thank you for making our ceremony so magical. The day could not have been more perfect, and we know a lot of that feeling is because you currated the ceremony for us. We appreciate you and the work that you did for us!

Our officiant was wonderful and made our ceremony feel so personal and meaningful. They struck the perfect balance of heartfelt and lighthearted, and made sure the ceremony reflected us as a couple. The process leading up to the wedding was easy and stress-free, and our guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was. A few pieces that we requested were missed in the ceremony and we were quite bummed about that.Sarah Hall Consulting -Officiant's reply:
Hi Sam, thank you for the kind words and generous review. I’m so glad the ceremony felt like “you”; heartfelt, lighthearted, and personal. That’s always my deepest intention, and it truly means the world to know it resonated with you and your guests.
That said, I do want to acknowledge something I missed: your vow books!
That detail was meaningful to you (and thus, meaningful to me). I loved when you and Michael decided to dust them with flour to make it feel like they’d been tucked away for ages, what an epic idea! I take full responsibility for forgetting to hand them to you during the ceremony and instead handed you my script. It was habit and I remembered immediately afterward and apologized in person, I felt horrid. AND was disappointed too as I had been so looking forward to the delivery. I completely understand how disappointing it can feel when even one small piece of the plan gets lost in the moment. For that I am still so very sorry.
I wish (more than you know) you’d said, “Hey, our books!” as I handed you my script. I would’ve been thrilled to pivot on the spot and bring that moment in.
Even after hundreds of ceremonies, I’m always learning. And I truly appreciate your feedback, even when it’s hard to hear. Wishing you and Michael a beautiful journey ahead. ❤️
