Ruth McGregor Celebrations is a wedding officiating service based in London, Ontario. Owner and Humanist officiant Ruth specializes in non-religious weddings and vow renewals. She welcomes couples from all walks of life, and customizes each ceremony script to best reflect their love story.
Services Offered
Ruth McGregor Celebrations works to add a personalized touch to every soon-to-be-wed's ceremony. Ruth adds a warm, humorous tone in her scripts whenever her clients prefer. Soon-to-be-weds are welcome to recite their own vows, and Ruth will be ready to provide any assistance or suggestions. Her ceremonies run between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the reading and rituals that her clients want to incorporate. Ruth can also be present during your rehearsal, to make sure everything goes according to plan on your big day.

Choose Ruth!
From our first meeting with Ruth, we felt that she was our person. She was so easy to talk to, easy to work with and asked all the right questions to help us prepare for our big day. She goes above and beyond your average responsibilities and we felt extremely confident and secure for our wedding ceremony. We really felt like she was a family friend and that we've always known her. She is professional, reliable, warm and she made things stress free in regard to the ceremony. We recommend Ruth to anyone interested, you will be well taken care of and you will not regret it! Thank you for being a part of our day!

Ruth was absolutely wonderful and we are so grateful that she was the one who officiated our wedding! 🤍 From the very beginning, she made us feel so comfortable and was so kind, warm, and easy to work with.
We had a high chance of rain the entire day, and Ruth made us feel so much better in the chance that we had to do a last minute location change or push our ceremony later if needed.
She made our ceremony feel so personal and meaningful while still keeping it light and fun. She did such a beautiful job capturing who we are as a couple, and so many of our guests commented on how lovely the ceremony was.
We couldn’t have asked for a better person to marry us. Ruth played such a special part in our wedding day, and we will always be so grateful for her! 🤍

We met Ruth through a friends recommendation, who she also officiated. The moment we met Ruth we knew she was a perfect fit for our day. Ruth was personable, organized and collaborative. From beginning to end, Ruth was an absolute delight! Through a few short meetings Ruth created a beautiful ceremony that perfectly captured our story and spirit. Many guests shared that it was one of the best ceremonies they had ever seen! Going above and beyond, she alleviated any stress around paperwork and the legalities, letting us take in the moments and celebrate our special day!

The best officiant ever!
Ruth was the best officiant we could have ever asked for! She was such a good fit for us. She was so professional, so responsive and so helpful! She was an absolute delight to work with, and to talk to. We had a lot of great laughs along the way. We received so many compliments on our ceremony.... and most of it was due to Ruth putting together such a perfect, thoughtful, personal and sentimental ceremony for us! Honestly, we feel so lucky to have had her as our officiant. We cannot recommend her enough!

Ruth was incredible to work with. She is very organized which I greatly appreciated. She is kind, witty and knowledgeable. The process was very easy and collaborative. Ruth had great advice. She clearly communicated and was very prepared. She took the time to speak to our guests and get to know them (and received rave reviews). Ruth helped pivot the ceremony when an unplanned rainstorm threatened to cause chaos. I am only sad I didn’t get to spend more time with her! I would recommend her 1000 times over. THANK YOU!

We had an amazing experience working with Ruth. She took the time to get to know us and created a beautiful, personalized ceremony that felt truly unique to our relationship. She was professional, kind, and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. We received so many compliments from our guests about how meaningful the ceremony was.
