Our wedding took place on May 10, 2025. Looking for a vendor was one of the first things we looked into when starting our wedding planning. We didn't know exactly what we were looking for, but knew for sure we wanted something non-religious. We came across wedding wire early on in our search and Ruth was the first person that caught our attention. First impressions are everything and we loved how Ruth's profile stated she was a humanist, had officiated several weddings and all of whom gave her 5 stars and glowing reviews. Ruth contacted us within 24 hours of message and the rest was history. Ruth is very prompt, professional, and lovely to work with. She provided us with the perfect service and ceremony that we asked for, which included words of love and wisdom that would last a lifetime and how anything is possible if we are truly committed. Ruth has a true gift for words that are heartfelt and meaningful. She also sent our marriage license off so it was one less thing to worry about. Ruth made the whole process easy and effortless from start to finish. And to top it off, the weather was beautiful on May 10th. We couldn't ask for a better day. Ruth has been an absolute gem to work with throughout the entire process. We were looking for a non-religious, quick ceremony and she delivered! From our first meeting with her she listened to all of our requests, gave us lots of pointers we wouldn't have even thought of, and remained professional. We knew instantly we wanted her as our officiant. She walked us through everything and made it so easy for us. Giving us lots of updates, check-ins and just very open communication. The wedding day itself was phenomenal and I know we owe it all to Ruth. We were running a bit behind on the ceremony and she graciously waited and even helped us with some of the tasks. My 7 year old nephew who was the ring bearer was a bit confused on what to do and she handled it perfectly to the point we didn't have to worry about anything. Ruth is perfect for any wedding and I cannot recommend her enough!

When searching for vendors for our Wedding, an Officiant was actually the most difficult to book by far. Not knowing what we'd want or need in an Officiant was part of issue, but even after contacting 3 different Officiants, all were already booked over a year from our wedding date (even though it was considered “off-season"). We then came across Ruth, and from our first interaction she was abosolutely lovely (and available for our day!). Reflecting after our wedding day we simply cannot have imagined our wedding without Ruth. We met multiple times to go over the ceremony and what we wanted the day to look like, and all of our meetings were primarily suggested and driven by Ruth. She came with a thorough list of questions to each meeting, taking diligent notes to ensure that what she provided would be tailored to our exact needs (even though we weren’t quite sure what we wanted at times!). This was clearly not her first wedding and she continuously had ideas and questions for us that we would not have considered otherwise! Without being asked or prompted she took early ownership and care of everything we could have wanted from safe handling of the marriage liscence, to telling us exactly where to stand and what to say and even ensuring us she would jump out of the way for our first kiss picture because, in her own words, “You don’t want me there!”

Ruth also attended our rehearsal dinner and walked us all through the ceremony to help us feel prepared and at ease the day before. We had multiple wedding guests give compliments on Ruth from her soothing voice, to the beautiful personal ceremony, and the way she guided and led the entire service. Ruth would be an asset to any couple looking for an the perfect officiant. You will not be disappointed with your choice!
