Ruth was friggin amazing. Ruth really just wants to make your day special, catering the ceremony to however you wish it to be and more. She gives amazing suggestions, keeps it stress free, was super awesome at the rehearsal and patient with our crazy wedding party. We honestly would go grab a beer with Ruth after this. Ruth, if you see this, you nailed it lady.

Ruth was the officiant at my wedding this past weekend. She was an absolute breeze to work with leading up to the day and was super professional on the day of. She has a comfortability about her that made the whole process seamless. It felt like an old friend was officiating the ceremony. We couldn’t recommend Ruth enough!

Ruth was extremely helpful, had a couple of meetings before the wedding to go over everything and iron out details, which was very helpful and thankfully we’re not too picky so it was very easy aha. Words can not express the many ways that Ruth helped to ensure our wedding ceremony was everything that we hoped it would be. Ruth engages right away to understand the tone and type of ceremony you are looking for and offers suggestions and options along the way. She really takes the time to get to know you as a couple so that she can meet your needs. Ruth provides gentle and thoughtfully timed prompts to ensure that everything is in order - and does so to ensure everything around your ceremony is settled and ready before all of the other vendors etc bombard you in the days before the wedding. I am an organized and detail oriented person - and was able to leave the ceremony details and schedules to Ruth without any concern - she is a true professional through and through. I would highly recommend Ruth to anyone - she was a great support and received rave reviews from all of our guests.

Ruth was absolutely wonderful to work with. She listened to our needs, and exceeded our expectations by holding together our ceremony and running around to make sure we were all ready. Ruth was professional and spoke eloquently during our ceremony. She was prepared, organized, and discreetly directed everyone. We just can’t say enough great things about our experience with Ruth marrying us!! My biggest wish was a short & sweet ceremony and for Ruth to step aside when we have our first kiss for the photographer to capture us. Ruth nailed every aspect! Thank you!!

My partner and I used Ruth to officiate our wedding. She was very open and inclusive, we are an LGBTQ couple. We had a video chat for introduction, multiple emails back and forth until the day of the ceremony. It was a beautiful day and a perfectly small ceremony with 14 attendees!

Ruth was the absolute perfect addition to our wedding. She officiated our wedding on June 11, 2022. She was professional, on time, and did a fantastic job with the ceremony. During the pre-wedding meetings I shared with Ruth that I was feeling nervous about the ceremony and speaking in front of so many people, she ensured that both my husband and I felt comfortable and leaded us through the ceremony flawlessly.
We feel that Ruth went above and beyond for our ceremony, answering all my emails quickly and full of useful information, worked with me on making my ceremony exactly how I wanted it, and even went as far as fixing my hair and veil on the wedding day when it came out with how windy it was. We were provided Ruth’s contact information after our original officiant had to suddenly cancel. Ruth was so professional and made everything very seamless. She truly enjoys learning your love story and wants to be involved to make sure things go swimmingly day of. She will create your ceremony however you desire and can also review/ help you write your vows, and provide any reading or ritual ideas. Overall we are so glad we had Ruth to officiate our special day.

I cannot find enough words to praise Ruth McGregor as she far exceeded our expectations for a wedding officiant. 

Ruth radiates joy and her beautiful smile was the first thing I always noticed at our group and one-on-one  Zoom meetings. I thought this is a woman who loves her job. Each question was throughly answered and meticulously noted.

What stood out most was Ruth’s eagerness to make the ceremony uniquely ours. As Ruth is a Humanist officiant, we wished  to include religious elements and worried how she might respond to this request. We were thrilled when she embraced this idea and her flexibility was deeply appreciated. 

She worked closely with our cousin who led the religious aspects and  the result was a perfect and beautifully balanced ceremony that had everything we could have hoped for.

On a final note, I must add that we are both seniors with a lifetime of experience.  We chose to marry because when two people fall in love and decide to bind themselves to each other,  there is a joy and gratitude that is hard to put into words.  Ruth captured this joy and we are forever grateful.
