I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Brad at many weddings and elopements throughout the Canadian Rockies, and I truly can’t recommend him enough.
Brad has such a genuine, calming presence that immediately puts couples at ease. He’s incredibly kind, professional, and thoughtful, and takes the time to create ceremonies that feel personal, meaningful, and authentic to each couple. No two ceremonies ever feel the same.
As a wedding photographer, I also appreciate how seamlessly Brad works with all of the vendors. He’s organized, communicates exceptionally well, and understands how to create a relaxed experience while allowing space for beautiful, natural moments to unfold. His timing is always perfect, and he genuinely cares about making the day unforgettable.

Choosing Brad to officiate our wedding was the best decision. We read a lot of Google reviews of various officiants in Calgary, and they all were great so it was hard to choose. We ended up asking our photographer who she recommended as she’s been to many weddings, and with zero hesitation, she recommended Brad. She said he was really charismatic, charming, funny, and just a really great officiant overall, and she was absolutely right. He catered our ceremony to fit our vibe perfectly based on what he knew about us, and he did an amazing job. He walked us through what to expect, gave us super helpful tips, and made us feel super comfortable and secure throughout the entire process. We are deeply grateful for Brad and the meaningful role he played in our wedding day. From the very first interaction, he brought a calm, steady presence that made the entire process feel grounded and intentional.
He took the time to understand us as a couple and thoughtfully shaped a ceremony that reflected our values and story. Everything was carried out with deep respect for the Catholic tradition, including a beautiful celebration of communion that made the service feel sacred and profound.
One of the most special moments was praying with him after the ceremony and sharing our vows in private. That quiet time added a deeply personal and spiritual layer to the day that we will always treasure.
On the day itself, he spoke with warmth, clarity, and sincerity, creating an atmosphere that was both reverent and joyful. Many of our guests commented on how moving and meaningful the ceremony was, and several mentioned how much they appreciated his presence and delivery.

My husband and I had an unforgettable, amazing experience with Brad as our officiant. He was a perfect fit for us and he delivered a memorable, beautiful and personalized Christian Faith based Ceremony. He took the time to get to know us and our story and supported us throughout this process. He truly has a gift of strong and kind leadership skills and making people feel comfortable.
We really appreciated how light hearted and fun he made our Ceremony. Brad was very professional and had a great sense of humor that our guests really enjoyed.

Brad was very communicative and professional every step of the way. We were able to work with him to build our own customized ceremony, and we loved the final product that he officiated for us. He even hiked a bit to get to our location and brought a table to sign our documents on (and waited patiently while we were running late). Brad Brownell married us on July 4, 2024, and he was the most incredible officiant. Brad went above and beyond to personalize our ceremony and our guests adored him. We had countless comments after our ceremony about how our officiant did an amazing job. Brad had our guests laughing, crying (happy tears of course), and engaged. Brad is incredibly professional and organized. He arrived early to individually talk my husband and I through the ceremony one final time and to help calm our nervous energy before we saw each other at the alter.
