Hummingbird Weddings by Liz is a female-owned wedding officiant business based in the Greater Hamilton Area, and from May to Thanksgiving, can also include the Peterborough area (but not limited to) Ontario.

Owner Elizabeth Chlan (Liz) is a licensed wedding officiant and is excited to help walk her clients through the most monumental day of their lives.

She wants to make it personal and unforgettable for her couples and their loved ones.

Services Offered

Liz will work closely with each couple to personalize the ceremony in any way desired, whether religious, spiritual, or both.

She offers unlimited phone or video calls to make sure everything is in place, and everyone is happy.

A rehearsal run-through can be arranged to add any last-minute changes and to ensure the wedding party knows what to expect.

Working with Liz from Hummingbird Weddings by Liz was one of the BEST decisions we made! ❤️ From start to finish, she guided us through the planning stages and our ceremony with such ease, precision and professionalism. She helped calm our nerves, kept everything running smoothly, and made sure our nuptials felt meaningful, personal and absolutely perfect. Amazing officiant!

Liz was exactly what we were looking for, we had a friend that had used Liz last year and recommended her to us. They had a great experience and so did we. Great Officiant Service

Liz made our ceremony truly meaningful

Liz officiated our wedding and was absolutely incredible. From the very beginning, she was warm, responsive, and eager to support us every step of the way. We incorporated several Filipino traditions into our ceremony, and Liz went above and beyond to learn about them and honor them with such enthusiasm and care.

She guided us through the rehearsal with confidence and kindness, and on the wedding day, she made sure everything flowed perfectly. Our ceremony felt meaningful, personal, and beautifully delivered, all thanks to her.

Great Officiant!!

Liz is an amazing officiant and made our day/ceremony beautiful! She was super easy to work with leading up to the wedding, providing us with options for ceremonies, responded to our questions quickly, and was very personable.
