Hazel was amazing! As everybody probably is, we were nervous about our big day but she made us feel so comfortable and made it very easy to get through. From the very beginning communicating through emails, then over the phone, looking over the ceremony draft she was a pleasure to work with. She listened to what we wanted and executed that perfectly.
Our ceremony was light hearted, sweet and funny and we received so many positive comments from our guests about the ceremony itself and Hazel. She had the crowd smiling, laughing and crying, what more can you ask for.
She is very professional and very kind. We have no regrets at all and would 100% recommend Hazel. Thank you so much for being part of our special day! -

Hazel was our officiant for our June 2024 wedding. From the first interaction she was very professional and friendly. She ensured that our ceremony was tailored to our wants and was super easy to work with. Hazel was very organized and knowledgeable about the legal process of getting married in Ontario. Hazel is an amazing officiant.
When we started the process, we did not know where to start, we had a few discovery calls and were not quite sure about the next steps. I found Hazel online, she gave me a call on the same day and I loved her energy. She asked to meet with my husband as well, and after that second call we were both convinced she was the one. On top of that she was flexible enough and allowed us to make some small changes the day of, allowing us to have a unique ceremony. Her professionalism, her smile and sense of humor allowed us to have a perfect ceremony. We could not recommend her enough!Hazel Shanks Officiant's reply:
