It was an absolute joy to have Srishti officiate our wedding, from start to finish, we felt extremely taken care of and in the most competent hands. She has a soothing presence, is a beautiful writer, and took great care in preparing and officiating our ceremony. We had no concept of what kind of ceremony we wanted, and Srishti managed to come up with an elegant, beautiful and thoughtful wedding that fit perfectly with who we are. Even small touches, like checking over our marriage license and reaching out to check on us in the weeks leading up, to reassuring words while the groom stood nervously at the front of the room and pausing to let a crying baby settle, we couldn’t be happier with how she performed. We feel incredibly lucky to have had Srishti marry us, and we can’t recommend her enough. It was perfect, thank you Srishti! -

Made our special day just that little bit more perfect
Srishti was such a great fit for our wedding. We had talked to other officiants beforehand, and while we left feeling fine about the meeting, it always felt like wanting a secular wedding was a compromise from the norm. I always felt uncomfortable because it felt like we wouldn’t be getting married on our terms, and marriage is about the commitment you make to each other, and should reflect that. We’re secular, queer, activists and needed someone who would reflect that. We were also a little weary of the “queer tax” that can come from searching for an officiant, but that was put at ease. Pricing was in line with our better than other officiants we had considered.
Our first meeting with Srishti put that at ease almost immediately with a giant pride flag in the background and we quickly got to know each other and how our values aligned. Throughout the planning process, Srishti was consistently punctual and timely, even when we weren’t necessarily. It was some solid, reliable hope in a time of so much chaos. -

Truly amazing officiant
I can't say enough good things about Srishti! She is so warm and kind and treated our ceremony with care and consideration. She put so much work into creating our ceremony, going over all of the wording with us, inviting us to make changes and give feedback, and brainstorming ways to say exactly what we wanted. I was so impressed with the amount of thought and effort she gave to our ceremony. She spent a lot of time talking to us as a couple and learning our love story, and we felt so seen when we read her speech. It felt perfectly us. I am usually not a big 'quotes' person, but she somehow managed to find the most perfect reading by Victor Hugo to include in our ceremony.
She was also incredibly easy to work with, she is organized and communicative and really on the ball. She encouraged us to squeeze in an extra practice session (absolutely the right call), and made sure everything on the day went smoothly.
I truly think this is Srishti's calling - she loves love, and it was wonderful to work with her. We were honoured to have her as our officiant, and we can't recommend her highly enough. -

Srishti worked with us to create the personal wedding ceremony we were looking for. We took our time emailing back and forth working on a draft, and had a couple meetings to discuss some parts more thoroughly.
The ceremony was wonderful! Our guests really enjoyed the ring warming ritual that we and Srishti worked on together.
Srishti is a warm and welcoming person that we enjoyed getting to know over the past year. -

Srishti was an amazing officiant and our ceremony was everything we could have wanted. Srishti met with us to learn about us as individuals and our story, then provided us a rough draft of our ceremony. Any adjustments requested were made quickly, our ceremony was molded into something true to us and, was completed well in advance of what we expected. Srishti was comforting and a warm and welcome presence on the day, providing assurance and a friendly demeanour for not only ourselves but also our guests. We couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out and would recommend Srishti to any couple looking for a ceremony that strays from cookie cutter and is entirely customizable to them! -

Where do we even start - an absolute star!
We got married this past September 2023 and found Srishti through the wedding wire app. We were looking for a more "non-traditional" wedding ceremony that focused on us as a couple and our love for the environment. Srishti made us feel as if our ceremony was one of a kind by incorporating our lifestyle and core values. Specifically, we chose to get married on the autumn equinox and Srishti shared the idea of incorporating a tree planting ceremony to symbolize our growth as a couple. She was very attentive and consistently made her self available. She pleasantly scheduled calls and provided a rehearsal of the ceremony prior to the wedding. She truly made our day feel special and we couldn't recommend a better officiant. We also greatly appreciated Srishti's background in Humanism as its principles correlated seamlessly with our wants in our ceremony.
It was so great to work with you Srishti - we wish you all the best and luck on ventures forward!
