My wife and I hired New Soul Duo for our out of town wedding. They were great to deal with ahead of time and provided music throughout the day (ceremony, reception and dance floor). DJ Najee played between sets and he was amazing. Lots of people commented on how great the band and DJ were and they went above and beyond to make our wedding fun! I highly recommend NSD for your wedding, they were one of our best decisions!! -

NSD was an excellent band to work with. They were very organized and executed everything we wanted from ceremony music timing, DJ service for cocktails & dinner, and live music for the dance and late evening. They took care of all the set up and coordination with our venue so we did not have to worry during the day. We got married at Rodney's Oyster House, and they were very flexible to make the space work for our wedding, the dance floor was full all night with a good range of music for everyone to enjoy! -

If you're planning an event or a wedding and want the dancefloor to be hopping, look no further than New Soul Duo! We got married last year and they managed our audio throughout the ceremony and reception, played a live performance for our first dance, and then rocked the house for hours on the dance floor into the wee hours of the morning . They were a pleasure to work with prior to the wedding, and made every effort to accommodate the personal touches throughout the day that made it even more special. They were contactable, approachable, flexible, and professional. Not only that, but they are incredibly talented. We could not have imagined our wedding day without Tony & Vance. -

New Soul Duo and DJ Yahya took care of the music during our wedding reception this past August in Fernie, BC. They were incredible! Prior to our day, all emails were answered SUPER promptly, and the group was thorough in taking the time to understand what we wanted for our music. They played my father-daughter dance live...something that will always be a treasured memory. During our wedding reception, their music choices were flawless, their energy was unflagging, the dance floor was full pretty much all night, and a good third of our guests were still up partying when the last song played at 1 am! Between sets, they were all really kind and friendly, and continued to add to the night, with DJ Yahya often joining us to dance. We had so much fun!!! Many of our guests and vendors commented to us about how outstanding both the duo and DJ were. We highly recommend New Soul Duo to anybody else seeking unforgettable entertainment for their event. New Soul Duo & DJ Yaya blew us all away with their talent!! I personally (the bide) could not stop dancing, it's 10 days past my wedding and my voice is still recovering from singing along! Our guests danced non stop until 1 AM. They are absolutely AMAZING!! Aisha, Vance, and Anthony listened to our requests and brought our vision to life - they killed it! I never wanted the night to end. Hiring these guys is the best of both worlds, live music and a super fun DJ who will dance with your guests! Communication with Aisha was perfect, their pricing is reasonable (worth every penny), and they are truly incredible. Don't hesitate, book New Soul Duo & DJ Yaya for all of your events!
