This review keeps getting removed despite having done business with this vendor. Something fishy is going on here.
The most stressful part of my wedding was dealing with Megan, everything else was a breeze in comparison. I would avoid this vendor at any cost, the stress of working with Megan made me sick to my stomach.
She blocked me on a website then reached out directly claiming that there was an issue with the website. This was odd but I trusted her. I reached out to the website and they claimed that she blocked me but they cannot see why. This was one of many things that should have raised a red flag.
There was no active communication from her without prompting and when we did communicate she was the most unprofessional vendor I have worked with. Leading up to the event she would ask for the same details multiple times, and went radio silent the closer to the wedding.
She wanted us to pay for her accommodations overnight on top of the payment, she only needed to drive an hour an half. When asking another violinist, they informed me that this was unusual and that all that was logistics for the vendor to figure out. At this point I should have turned around but we already sent our deposit. When telling her that this was her responsibility, she started asking if we could pay an additional 100 for the accommodations.
I cannot speak to the talent she has since she canceled on us 3 hours before the event in an EMAIL. Not even a courtesy phone call. In her email she just said sorry and that she couldn't make it, no information about returning our payment, we had to call her multiple times a day asking for an update on sending an e-transfer. She would tell us that she was busy or that she was working on it, as if it was like writing a book. I cannot imagine how she could get anything done if sending an e-transfer took her 2 weeks. We ended up needing to call her 34 times and email her 6 times before she finally sent the e-transfer.
Trying to book Megan for my event was the most nauseating experience I have had and was the only miserable part of planning my wedding. If anyone is reading this and thinking about booking her services, understand that it will not be stress free.

We truly couldn’t have imagined our wedding ceremony without our incredible violinist and guitarist. The music was absolutely beautiful and made our ceremony feel even more magical and emotional than we could have ever imagined. 🤍
From the moment the music started, it created the most beautiful atmosphere and added such a special, romantic touch to our day.
We were also so grateful that they were willing to back up a couple of our track songs for us and work with our vision to make everything feel so personal and uniquely ours. They went above and beyond to make sure everything flowed perfectly, and we couldn’t have been happier with how it all came together.
Thank you both for being such a special part of our wedding day and for making our ceremony even more beautiful than we had pictured. Your talent, kindness, and willingness to bring our vision to life meant so much to us. We will forever remember the music that played as we became husband and wife. 🥹🤍🎻🎸 -

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I feel I have to share my experience so other couples can make an informed decision.
I originally booked Megan as the violinist for my wedding. During the planning process, she encouraged me to also book her husband to perform as well, so I did and paid in full well in advance. One thing that stood out to me was that she requested full payment immediately, which was different from every other wedding vendor I worked with.
Unfortunately, the planning process was very disorganized. I had to follow up multiple times about contracts, song selections, and other details. I even had to ask her to send me a contract and make corrections myself. Communication throughout the planning process was inconsistent and added unnecessary stress.
The week before my wedding, Megan called to let me know her husband could no longer perform and that she had found a replacement. I had no issue with the replacement and appreciated that she arranged someone else.
Around that same time, she also told me she had another performance in Cranbrook the day before my wedding. I’ll admit, it made me a little nervous, but I trusted that everything would still go as planned.
Unfortunately, on my wedding day, Megan didn’t show up.
I wasn’t contacted directly by Megan. Instead, my wedding coordinator was informed, and that’s how I found out. Having one of your ceremony musicians not show up on your wedding day is incredibly disappointing and stressful. Thankfully, my venue was able to find a last-minute replacement, but that’s not something any couple should have to deal with on such an important day.
She did refund the remaining balance afterward, but no refund can replace the experience we lost.
I also noticed another review posted on July 27 describing a very similar experience. Seeing that made me feel it was important to share mine as well because reliability is one of the most important qualities in a wedding vendor.
Megan seems like a nice person, but based on my experience, I can’t recommend booking her for a wedding. Your wedding day only happens once, and you deserve vendors you can rely on. -

Best Bollywood violinist in Alberta
Megan was the perfect touch to our event. She went an extra mile and learnt song requests for us in advance. She also made sure to arrive early for a sound check to ensure our evening would flow seamlessly. Not only did we love her expertise, but our guests still can't stop talking about how phenomenal she was! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a violinist in Alberta (especially if you want some Bollywood items!) -

Megan is just what your event needs!
Megan was amazing! She made our wedding so much more special. She was a pleasure to work with through the planning phase, she was extremely kind and suportive through the whole process. She made the song selection very simple by providing some terrific options to choose from. I would highly recommend Megan! -

Megan and her partner played at our wedding ceremony and they were phenomenal. Megan took the time to meet with us and discuss our song choices before our wedding, and was willing and open to play anything! Many of our guests mentioned how great they are. They also bring in all their own equipment to ensure we didn't run into any hiccups and didn't have to stress about technical issues. They are so talented and made our wedding so special with amazing music!
