Jack McAvoy Music is a solo acoustic musician primarily focusing on rock, alternative and pop for weddings in Belleville, Ontario. I tackle the songs of The Tragically Hip, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead, Blink 182, The Killers, Johnny Cash, and more. I think I’m a great fit to perform during your cocktail hour. I am new to the wedding business and have primarily focused on bar and private shows before. I also bring everything needed for my performance, including a high-end speaker setup with great sound and volume.

Experience

My previous project, Enrights, where I played guitar and sang, was an in-your-face alternative rock group reminiscent of Sloan or the Arkells. We were based out of Kingston, had multiple releases and developed a strong following. This project had me playing alongside the Sam Roberts Band, The Trews, Theory of a Deadman, Sloan, Bros (of Sheepdog fame) and Buckcherry. We were lucky enough to have our music featured on an NHL broadcast! I also play lead guitar for a Belleville-based group called Cat Named Earl.
