Services Offered

J-SAX offers a musical backdrop for every element of your wedding day, including ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and first dance. The Best in the Business!

Our guests are still raving about J-Sax's amazing performance at our wedding. He was perfect during the cocktail and fabulous during the party. Easy to work with, got our vibe right away, the whole experience was a bliss. Hands down, the best decision we have made during our wedding planning process. He liaised directly with the DJ and the venue to make sure everything was setup for him. The sax gave a nice touch of classiness and fun to our day. A true professionnel and amazing artist with a deep repertoire of all genres. Highly recommended.

A True Professional

Jorg is awesome, and truly made our day magical. The guests all loved it, Jorg was great on the dance floor (really great chemistry with our DJ).

Working with him was wonderful

We hired Jorg for our wedding and he was wonderful. He asked us about the type of song direction we were looking for and he delivered. His music catalog was great , our guest loved him and were dancing to playlists. We had a blast working with him, very professional and responded quickly with any questions or requested. He added something to our wedding that made it just a bit more special. We highly recommend working with Jorg.

Extraordinary

After reviewing several profiles for a saxophonist to play at my daughter's wedding, I chose Jörg, his website was by far the best. We were not disappointed, he was organized, he recommended a song list for the celebration and wedding reception that was exceptionnal, he was easy to reach, professional and most of all he played beautifully. Awesome saxophonist!

J-SAX accompanied our wedding cocktail hour as well as the dinner with the most beautiful lounge sounds and this created a unique ambience. Late at night they entertained us on the dance floor with their DJ set. We and our guests were thrilled about J-SAX!

Nothing but good things to say!

Jörg Sandmeier
Owner, Musical Director

For more than 20 years I have captivated and inspired audiences with my tasteful saxophone playing. As one of the few Swiss saxophonists I performed on stage alongside such musicians as Quincy Jones, Michael Bublé, The Manhattan Transfer, Al Jarreau, Patti Austin, Nikky Yanofski and many other talented musicians.

I have been living in Montreal for a few years now and have since fallen in love with the city and its fantastic music and cultural scene.

Originally grown up in Zurich/Switzerland, I studied saxophone, composition and arrangement at the Swiss Jazz School in Bern, graduating with a master’s degree in 2001.
