Katherine is an absolute dream to work with! She's so talented, thoughtful, and so much fun to be around.
I know absolutely nothing about makeup, so while I came to her with a few inspiration photos, I was really counting on Katherine to help me figure out what I actually wanted. And she was more than up for the challenge. During our trial, she took the time to understand my preferences, skin type, and what would make me feel most comfortable. She was receptive to feedback and incorporated everything beautifully on my wedding day.
What I especially appreciated was how thoughtful she was about the entire experience, not just the makeup itself. She worked with my hairstylist to make sure getting ready was seamless, helped me figure out how to evolve my look from ceremony to reception, and worked around my tikka to make sure the whole look came together beautifully.
On the wedding day, Katherine was organized, efficient, and on top of everything, all while being a blast to have around. She also did makeup for my mother and mother-in-law, who both looked incredible and were so happy with their looks.
And the makeup itself? She nailed it. I always assumed there was a trade-off between makeup that looks beautiful in person and makeup that photographs well, but Katherine somehow managed both. I felt like myself, just a very polished version! I received so many compliments, and most importantly, I felt completely comfortable and confident in my own skin.
What really sets Katherine apart is how approachable she makes the whole process. She never made me feel silly for knowing so little about makeup, happily taught me things along the way, and cared about making sure I felt like myself.

Katherine and Melody from Lavish Flair exceeded all expectations and made my bridal party and me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day! Katherine was my main point of contact, and she was incredibly communicative and has a true gift for turning inspiration into reality. I was so impressed by her professionalism, kindness, and talent. I received countless compliments not only on my wedding day, but even during my trial session while my husband and I were out running errands around the city.
They took feedback exceptionally well and worked thoughtfully to create the look of my dreams, giving the same level of care and attention to detail to my entire bridal party. Working with the Lavish Flair team was a fantastic experience. Katherine is so professional and took time to understand my vision for my big day. She really captured what I wanted and I felt so beautiful on my big day. My mother and MIL were also nervous about getting their makeup done because of their more “mature” skin, but Katherine and her team did an amazing job with them and they looked and felt so beautiful! Lastly - one of my bridesmaids who had her makeup done several times recently for other weddings said Katherine and her team were by far the best. Would highly recommend Lavish Flair to anyone looking for a bridal make up artist! -
