Chelsea Dawn Chawsky was an absolute dream to work with on our wedding day. She arrived right on time and immediately brought such a calm, positive energy to the morning.
She enhanced each member of the bridal party’s natural beauty so effortlessly. Everyone still looked like themselves, just elevated and glowing. The makeup and hair were flawless and photographed beautifully.
Beyond her talent, Chelsea is truly such a sweet, friendly, beautiful soul. She made the entire getting-ready experience feel relaxed, special, and so enjoyable. We’re so grateful she was part of our day. -

Chelsea was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. She exuded positivity from the moment I contacted her, providing excellent advice throughout the whole process. I especially loved her calm and easy-going energy while getting ready in the morning before the ceremony. Most importantly, she nailed my requested make-up look (glow with gold streak eye), and hair style (wavy half up half down with little pins). Thank you so much Chelsea! You were such a huge contributor to making my dream wedding day! -

I hired Chelsea for hair and makeup for my wedding day, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! Having worked with her before in Montreal, I already knew Chelsea was talented and wonderful to be around (those calm, positive vibes are exactly what you need on your wedding morning). What I didn't know was that she travels to weddings - I'm so grateful she made the trip just outside of Ottawa for us!
My sister-in-laws and mom couldn't stop raving about her work all day. The results were seriously next-level. We looked absolutely flawless from the first look to the last dance - even after being outside in the sun, crying happy tears, eating, drinking and dancing up a storm.
I kept checking throughout the day and couldn't get over how solid everything looked. No dryness, no makeup settling into lines, no slip and slide T-zone, nothing - even after 10+ hours of enjoying the day. My updo looked soft and romantic but was also rock-solid. It handled a long veil being placed for the ceremony, taken out for cocktail hour and then replaced and removed for photos. And the soft curls held throughout the entire day (my hair is notoriously fickle about holding a curl, so this was impressive!).
If you want to look and feel amazing all day long with an artist who brings the perfect energy to your wedding morning, book Chelsea. You won't regret it! -

I don’t know if I have enough space to say everything wonderful I have to say about Chelsea! It’s obvious how talented she is at both hair and makeup, but what’s almost more valuable is how incredibly kind, fun and professional she is. She was able to keep us all on perfect schedule while doing 4 people’s hair and makeup on her own, with not a single bit of drop off in quality. All while chatting with us, having an amazing time with us the morning of my wedding. My mom said this was the first time she has ever left the makeup chair feeling happy with how it turned out, which was so so special to me. We all looked incredible while still looking and feeling like ourselves, Chelsea followed exactly what each of us asked her for. All our glam held up through the whole night after crying and sweating and all sorts!! Chelsea, you are a gem. I am so grateful to have had you on my day. If you are wondering if Chelsea is the mua/hairstylist for you, I highly encourage you to book a trial with her, you will not regret it!!! Thanks again 💗💗 -

Chelsea's energy and skill were a big stress-relief for our wedding. I had a great hair & makeup trial with her and her bubbly and calm energy as the first vendor I saw on our wedding day helped calm my nerves. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup and our bridesmaids and mothers came out looking gorgeous too. 10/10 would recommend Chelsea to anyone and everyone -

Chelsea was super nice and an absolute pleasure to work with. I loved my wedding hair, she nailed the look I wanted (between wavy-curly, natural-looking). My hairstyle included well-incorporated spots for the veil and floral pieces, and everything held all night through heat and dancing! My mom and bridesmaids were also very happy with their hair! :) Thanks again! -

Chelsea was very professional and communicative throughout the whole process of booking. She was easy to talk to when figuring out my look for the big day, and always offered great suggestions. She absolutely nailed my goth glam look and I couldn't have been happier! My bridesmaids and mother also really loved working with her. I highly recommend! -

Calm & Effervescent
On a day with so much stress, Chelsea was a calm and lovely influence. I brought all my concerns to Chelsea - my hair won't hold a curl or shape, my fiance wants it down but I'm worried about getting hot & sweaty, I want my fiance (who never wears makeup) to have some basic makeup for photos & she's worried about sweating (and more). Chelsea was unfazed - did the make up equivalent of "hold my beer" - and kept her cheerful & effervescent demeanor throughout. We did a trial to help us both feel more comfortable and Chelsea drove up to Mount Tremblant on a Saturday in peak wedding season just for my hair & makeup and my fiance's basic makeup! I was so pleased with how everything turned out. -

Never looked or felt more beautiful!
I am so grateful to have chosen Chelsea to do my hair and makeup on my wedding day. From the day I first met her, she had such a comforting, relaxed presence and really made me feel comfortable. When you’re planning a wedding, that kind of energy is very appreciated!! I didn’t have a strong vision of what I wanted to look like, but she was so patient with me and asked all the right questions to help build a vision together. I can truly say I have never looked or felt more beautiful than on my wedding day, and that’s all thanks to her.
Everyone in my wedding party loved her, she’s a blast to be around, extremely talented, and you will never regret picking her for your big day!! Thank you Chelsea for everything. -
