Right off the bat, Abby was a joy to work with. She's extremely responsive with emails and answered all our endless questions to full detail. We hired her services for make up and hair for our bridal party and additional female friends. Our bride had reached out to her initially for her own hair and make up but ended up going with someone else. It was a really nice surprise that Abby recognized our party was connected to the bride when I never even mentioned it! That just goes to show how much Abby cares for her clients and she's just not out for your money. On the wedding day, Abby and her team (Haley and Jihae) were so sweet and fun to have around. It was like having our own friends come and glam us up for the day! For a weekend full of love and emotions, we couldn't ask for a better group of women like Abby, Jihae and Haley to join us. We will definitely consider At First Blush again in the future for other weddings and formal events! We have three more women up in line for the ring and I just hope Abby will be available!! ;)
PS: Haley is QUEEEEEEEN of curls!! The girls and I couldn't stop raving about her skills all day!!! -

I booked At First Blush for my bridal party hair & makeup and I couldn’t be happier with my decision!!! Abby was extremely prompt with answering all my questions (and trust me, there were many!) and she followed up consistently throughout the wedding planning process to ensure that everything would be executed exactly as I had envisioned for the wedding day. During the start of the wedding day, her team was extremely punctual and had everything set up in the early AM, all while me and some of my bridesmaids were still just getting out of bed! She was such a delight to have at the start of this special day, as she was very sweet and calm and I really appreciated how she connected and took the time to get to know each of us personally. Above all this, the team did an absolutely fabulous job with all the girl’s make-up and hair. Everyone’s make-up and hair style was still intact even after a good 18+ hour day - I was utterly impressed! As well, Abby was mobile and was present to do touch-ups for me before my ceremony and reception. It was so amazing to have this service with her and I would highly recommend her to all future brides & bridal parties!!! -

My bridal party hired Abby and her team to do their hair and make up the day of our wedding. We had the absolute best time with them, it felt more like girl friends just hanging out doing each other's hair and make up. Abby and her team were so professional and they worked hard. The end result was beautiful! They did a really good job at highlighting how beautiful my girls are :) highly recommend!! -

I got Abby and team to do all the makeup and hair for my bridesmaids, grooms lady and mother on my wedding day. Abby is such a wonderful and pleasant person to work with. She came to our venue and had everything setup on time on the day. I told her that my bridesmaids and grooms lady were going to let her know the day of what kind of make up and hair they’d want. The girls were able to tell and show Abby and team what they wanted, and everything turned out magnificent. Abby and team did such an excellent job. The girls looked beautiful. The hardest part was to please my mother, who was particular about how her makeup and hair were done. Abby worked her magic. She made my mother look elegant and beautiful. My mother LOVED her makeup because she received so many compliments. Thank you Abby for making my girls look so pretty! I would highly recommend Abby for makeup and hair services! -

Given the short 2 months time we had to plan our wedding, Abby responded to my request for pricing and information quickly and professionally, without the makeup industry jargon lingo that I don't understand and helped with my comparison process.
When I let her know that we don't really have the budget for her services, she was flexible and offered us not only additional discounts but options and modifications to her services packages.
She was flexible even for scheduling my makeup & hair trial, two days before her own honeymoon! And she followed up with me to confirm all the details, even though I changed my mind completely since the makeup & hair trail.
On the day of our wedding, her friendliness and professionalism helped to reassure and calm our nerves. I loved my look the whole day, and my mom and husband were also super happy with her services.
Thank you Abby for being flexible with our budget and help us look way better on our wedding day! -
