I ordered a custom wedding band, not because what I wanted was extravagant but they just didn’t have it in stock so it had to be “custom”. I wanted what one might consider to be a “men’s wedding band” but I just wanted something simple that wouldn’t get in the way.

I worked out the details with a jeweller and he took some notes and my money and sent me on my way.

A while later I got a call my ring was ready and when I went in it was not what I had asked for. They offered to tweak it to fit my requirements. It was too bulky and flat, I wanted it narrow and slightly rounded to be more feminine.

I did not receive a notice that it was ready for some time so I went in to the store one day to inquire as my wedding was, at this point, quickly approaching. The ring had not been worked on at all as the jeweller was away and wouldn’t be back before my wedding.

I’ll add that I started the process many months before the wedding and was told it would be ready in plenty of time.

I ended up cancelling the order and they gave me a bit of my deposit back but overall I was disappointed.

My husband got his ring resized here and had no issues
