Melanie was an absolute dream to work with, and I cannot recommend her enough. From the very beginning, she was so easy to communicate with, incredibly responsive to emails and calls, and always made me feel heard and supported throughout the entire planning process.
I came to her with a vision, a Pinterest board, and a soft romantic spring vibe in mind, and she truly brought it to life in the most beautiful way. She listened so carefully to every detail, patiently helped me refine the color palette, and guided me through choosing the perfect shade of pink that would complement everything else. She also suggested specific flower types and arrangement options that helped us stay within budget while still creating such a beautiful and elegant ceremony and reception space.
Her contract was also very clear and detailed, which made the whole process feel organized and stress-free. There was no confusion or room for questions, and that level of professionalism gave me so much peace of mind.
We had a Persian ceremony with a Sofreh Aghd, and Mel’s attention to detail was truly extraordinary. She helped me choose the right pillar heights for the ceremony florals and thought through every little detail, even how tall the pillars should be so the flowers would beautifully “hug” the bride and groom during the ceremony. That level of care and thoughtfulness meant so much to me.
Earlier in the week of the wedding, she reached out to confirm all the little setup details, and I truly appreciated that as a bride. She was so prepared and professional that on the wedding day, she did not need anything from me or my event planner. She already knew exactly what to do, and everything was handled so smoothly.
On the wedding day, she arrived right on time to deliver my bouquet and the bridesmaid bouquets, and everything looked absolutely stunning. She also set up the bud vases on the reception tables so quickly and beautifully that even my wedding party was impressed by her agility and efficiency.
Mel is such a sweetheart to work with. She is professional, kind, organized, and so knowledgeable about flowers. The arrangements she created were beyond beautiful and complemented the space perfectly. The ceremony and reception looked exactly like the romantic, soft, elegant vision I had imagined, and I am so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding day feel so special.
Truly a 100/10 experience. Mel is fabulous, talented, and an absolute gem. I would recommend her to any couple looking for a florist who not only creates beautiful floral designs, but also makes the entire process feel easy, thoughtful, and stress-free.

We hired Melanie from Lush Florals for our wedding at The Gate House in April. From the first communication, I could tell that Melanie was extremely passionate, experienced, and knowledgeable. She helped me articulate my floral ideas through detailed descriptions and pictures which made it easy to envision the final product. She took the time to make sure we had a cohesive, beautiful design and easily accommodated all of my requests. She expertly executed exactly what I wanted, but in a way that was more than I ever could've dreamed of. Seeing all the florals completed on my wedding day really brought out the magic of it all. Trusting Melanie was the best decision, and I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat! -

Melanie at Lush Florals was great to work with, especially since I truly had no idea what I wanted for our wedding. During our meeting she showed me a bunch of options which allowed me to easily figure out what to select, and come our wedding day I was not disappointed!
Everything was beautiful and the bouquets were the perfect size and weight. The arrangement on the sweetheart table was perfect and the floral arrangement on the arbour my dad built for us really tied together the ceremony decor.
Due to all the changes leading up to the day (due to the pandemic) we had to contact Mel a bunch of times to request changes/additions to our order, and Mel was extremely responsive. It took a lot of stress off us.
We are very happy we chose Lush Florals for our wedding! -

Absolutely Incredible!
Mel and her team are truly talented. I knew from my first phone call that I could completely trust Lush with my wedding. I met with various florists in the Niagara area but Mel was the first person who gave me multiple options at different price points based on my vision, and she even gave me more ideas based on what I was thinking originally. I gave her my colour palette and overall idea but fully trusted her with the floral selection and design, and she far exceeding my expectations. I absolutely LOVED my florals, and still receive so many compliments months later. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and truly made my floral dreams come true. -

Notl wedding
Melanie and her team at Lush Florals did an incredible job on our wedding florals this summer. We met with Melanie the summer before our wedding and she was able to give us a detailed quote that fit within our budget. We had a general idea of the look that we were going for (lots of eucalyptus and complimentary greenery and some simple white florals), but the girls at Lush Florals took our vision and went above and beyond what we ever could have imagined.
We had silver dollar eucalyptus laid on our long harvest tables with sporadic blooms, but the table greenery and florals were so well done, that you’d never know it wasn’t a lush garland (which, as many know after a little research, can run you a pretty penny).
We were so pleased with the fullness and size of the bouquets, swags, arrangements and table décor that Melanie’s team delivered. Lauren did all of the set-up for our wedding at Kurtz Orchards, on what may have been the hottest day in the history of NOTL, but in spite of the heat, she exceeded our expectations in every way. We received so many compliments from our guests about the florals and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lush Florals to anyone getting married in the Hamilton/Niagara/Toronto region! -

Let me tell you something about Mel and her team. They will never back down and they will not be stopped, come Hell or high water - not even by a car accident on the day of your wedding and a broken wrist!!!! Mel's artistic vision is out of this world and under her work description, she should add that she creates MAGIC. There is no one as talented as her. No one!!! The floral arrangements at our wedding were nothing short of spectacular, thanks to her amazing team. Mel is a sweetheart and a warrior all at once and I could not recommend her enough! When they say it takes a village, it is absolutely true. A village and Lush Florals.🌹🌸🌷🌺 Everything I had hoped for and much, much more - Mel and her people knocked it out of the park💫👏✨ -
