Jackie Kozak and Matt from Scaraoke Entertainment brought the party for our day! Jackie and I have had many phone conversations discussing music choices, the flow of the day, little details that tied everything together in the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. Jackie is extremely professional and brings a level of calm knowing she is an expert in this business! Thank you so so much Jackie for all of the love you poured into our day. It was an absolute pleasure to have Jackie as the DJ and MC at our wedding! From the very first email with her we felt confident that we had found someone professional, competent, organized, and with a great personality. Jackie continued to prove that over and over throughout the wedding planning process. She stayed on top of our requests and specific needs. At our virtual meeting with her when we initially hired her, we felt she really took the time to get to know us as a couple and to understand our music tastes. She was willing to brainstorm with us when we talked to her about having a family member record the ceremony and needed to figure out the audio recording. She even attended our ceremony rehearsal and was a HUGE help in getting the timing right and making sure our families knew what to do.
Having her as an MC was such a great choice - she kept our guests entertained and laughing, and added in so many great details about our story. She was fantastic with keeping the timeline moving, and multiple guests noted that the reception started at the exact minute it was supposed to, and the dancing started at 9 PM on the dot.
The dance floor was filled immediately, and our guests raved about Jackie. One guest said, "I need a break from dancing but your DJ is doing too good of a job" and I think that pretty much sums up the experience for all of us on the dance floor. She listened to requests and even if some of the requests thinned out the dance floor, the next song she played would fill it right back up.
We had the most amazing time at our wedding and we know that Jackie was an essential part of that. We are so grateful we hired Jackie and honestly want to plan another big event just so we can hire her. -

My partner and I had the pleasure of working with Jackie Kozak and her team at Scaraoke Entertainment on our wedding day in September 2023. From the day we spoke to Jackie about our big day, she made us feel comfortable and supported for the day while offering helpful suggestions for entertainment for the guests on the night of the event.
Jackie was our DJ and Emcee for both our wedding ceremony as well as the dinner and reception. We have received nothing but compliments and cannot express our gratitude for everything that Jackie and her team did to make our big day special. They arrived early and made sure that everything worked perfectly and that the sound was crystal clear for our over 100 guests at our outdoor ceremony in the forest and again at the indoor reception in a greenhouse. Jackie provided a personal microphone to our officiant as well as a wireless microphone for other speakers during the ceremony.
We also had a guitarist provide live music for our first dance and for a surprise serenade for one of the grooms from the other groom. Jackie patched two guitars into her system so that they could be heard by all guests and provided the microphones for the singers. She flawlessly executed our schedule for the reception and kept the party moving throughout dinner, speeches, and then kept the dance floor busy for the entire night!
As the Emcee, she added fun little games to the evening including a prize to the speaker with the shortest speech of the night. She accommodated us with requests both from the grooms for foreign music as well as requests from the guests on the night of the wedding. Jackie and her team even surprised us once the dancing started with fun glow wands for the kids and adults too! The dance floor was lit up all night long! We cannot thank Jackie and the team at Scaraoke Entertainment enough or recommend them more highly for everything that they did to make our day run perfectly and be heard by and fun for all.
Jackie - thank you so much for your attention to even the smallest of details. We would book you again in a heartbeat and will recommend you to anyone who is looking for a DJ, MC, or both! -

Jackie is amazing! She checked in multiple times before the big day to make sure she was prepared - and boy she was!!
She was super flexible to all our (sometimes last minute) changes and made sure the ceremony went perfectly! Our dance floor was always super full of people of all ages enjoying the night.

When we met Jackie, we knew she was the right DJ for our wedding. We had 185 guests with varying music interests and she hit every note of it perfectly. Her attention to detail and ensuring our occasion was smooth and perfect is impeccable. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. She’s your one and done gal!
