QA Entertainment is a preferred vendor at our venue, and we immediately understood why. We got married on Halloween, and Jamie was the very first DJ we met with—and the last! After our initial conversation, we knew we didn’t need to meet with anyone else; he was absolutely perfect. His energy is so calm, professional, and genuinely personable. He seemed truly interested in the specific music we asked for and promised to add some fun Halloween flair.
He did not disappoint! Not only did Jamie dress up in a fantastic costume on the day of, but his musical performance was flawless. He has an insanely good sense of the room, able to pick up on what got the crowd going and move away from any vibe that didn't stick. Our dance floor was packed all night long.
Beyond the music, Jamie was also our MC, and he was masterful. He delivered great hype and even included some amazingly funny, light roasting of us as a couple, which added a perfect, personal touch. He managed the flow of the entire reception seamlessly and with perfect energy.
If we could give QA Entertainment 6 out of 5 stars, we absolutely would. Book Jamie—you won’t regret it! -

Jamie…a true veteran, professional, and all-star. We were pretty particular about our wedding DJ. When we began the search, we were already armed with a lengthy “do not play list”, specific criteria for the vibe we wanted to create on the day, and a long song selection already pulled together. We were worried our expectations were a bit too high and we wouldn’t be able to find someone to meet them. Jamie proved us wrong.
As soon as Jamie got on the first call with us, we jived so well. His style, his well-rounded knowledge of different bands and artists that perfectly fit our vibe, and his level of organization and professionalism sold us immediately - it was a no-brainer that we HAD to book with him.
We’re so glad we had Jamie setting the tone for our wedding day because we received non-stop compliments from our guests, all asking “who is your DJ?!”, “how did you find your DJ?!”, in addition to “this is the best music I’ve ever heard at a wedding”.
We loved the time Jamie took to ensure every moment of the day was accounted for, giving us the freedom to be as particular with our song selections as we’d like, or allowing us to lean on him to make recommendations. One of his best recommendations was our saxophone player, Joseph Callender, who played during our cocktail hour and was the perfect addition to kick off the evening.
As if Jamie wasn’t already the best, we also woke up the morning after our wedding to a gorgeous highlight reel of content he had taken the day of our wedding, edited together to perfectly capture the day and allow us to relive the wedding less than 24 hours later - we were shocked in the best way.
Thank you for going above and beyond, Jamie. You’re the man. -

QA Entertainment was absolutely essential in making our wedding day perfect. Jamie supported us throughout the entire lead-up process and made everything so easy with his experience, professionalism, and sense of humour. He took the time to understand us as a couple — our backgrounds and individual interests — and knew exactly how to create the perfect sound for our wedding.
Miguel was our DJ on the day, and he completely brought our vision and plans with Jamie to life. We are so thankful to the QA Entertainment team — all our guests are still talking about the music!

QA Entertainment definitely stuck out amongst the crowd when we started looking at wedding DJs. Jamie was professional and easy to communicate with and presented his company in a way that no other group had! Throughout the entire process, they were easy to chat with and super quick to respond. Miguel was our DJ for the evening and absolutely delivered! He was flexible and adhered to all our requests capturing the exact vibe we’d hoped. Our dance floor was consistently packed from the minute it opened, until our final song! Even the venue mentioned that they hadn’t seen a wedding dance floor there so consistently full quite like that! We couldn’t recommend QA Entertainment more! -

Jamie kept the dance floor packed all night with a perfect mix of songs tailored to our taste and read the crowd like a pro. As an MC, he was charismatic, organized, and kept everything flowing seamlessly—from the grand entrance to the final song.

We cannot recommend Jamie enough! He made our wedding an absolute party and everyone loved the music. He included all the songs we wanted, listened to our preferences, and was always there to answer our questions before the big day. You will not be disappointed if you hire Jamie for any of your events! -
