Justin was great to work with and really listened to understand the vibe we wanted for our wedding. We had some unusual requests for cocktail hour and wanted dinner music to represent our love of classic rock, instead of the standard "wedding appropriate" slow jams. The result was absolutely perfect. Our guests sang along and wiggled in their seats to Zeppelin, GnR and 80s/90s hits - it kept the vibe upbeat and everyone was seriously ready to get down once the real dancing started. We had SO many compliments just on the dinner music!!! We gave Justin a list of must-haves for dancing and he ran with it, totally encapsulating what we envisioned. It was a huge dance party with funk, motown and hip hop - my 80yr old grandmother was dancing! My only regret was not coordinating potential extra time because ppl did not want ro leave the dancefloor! I thought i would have a chance to ask as the time approached but totally lost track of time (guess thats what happens when you're the bride!) Recommend to assign that task to a sober friend with a watch LOL. Oh and we had some verrry last minute foreign music that Justin played for us - he was super accommodating and just made it work. Saved the day! All in all we had an awesome night and look forward to tracking down Justin wherever he plays in the city so we can get our dance on :) -
Angelica J. Sent on 15/08/2017Justin was a pleasure to work with. He took requests from my husband and I; and Justin incorporated our selected songs into his DJ set. He also kept the party vibe going all night long. He is very flexible and responds quickly to messages. Even our own parents commented on how they enjoyed the music that Justin played. I would highly recommend hiring Justin for your wedding or other major events.

[Anonymous] Sent on 21/02/2017If we had to write a review for Our Liner Notes using one word, it would be "flawless"! The service, the choice of music, and the DJ'ing were flawless in every way! Justin ("Our Liner Notes") was the best wedding DJ we could have asked for, as having good music was very important to us. Justin showed the level of professionalism and talent required to make our night feel magical. He provided the perfect soundtrack to our celebration of long-lasting love. Justin knew exactly the kind of music we wanted from a short list of songs we shared with him. His playset for our wedding reception was the perfect combination of nostalgia and euphoria, from today's indie music to Drake - to Spice Girls - to disco. The end result was everyone - young and old - having a blast on the dance floor! He was very easy to work with and also had no problems working with our venue and MC. We even had guests ask for Justin's contact for their upcoming weddings. Whether you are a music snob or an amateur, we highly recommend Our Liner Notes as your evening entertainment will be in very good hands. -

He was so flexible with our specific music requests, and even accommodated my dad's surprise musical performance. Everyone at our wedding really enjoyed the music, young and old, and we had so many compliments on his services. I really appreciated that he was not the typical wedding DJ (no Chicken Dance, no Cha Cha Slide, no YMCA) and he is a super nice guy who is easy to work with. 10/10 for sure. -

The older crowd was satisfied, as well as the younger. He really does have experience that far exceeds what I thought we'd need, lol. Thats great service. -

He was very flexible and super easy to work with - and best of all, he kept the party going! Would definitely recommend Justin for your wedding celebration! -
[Anonymous] Sent on 16/01/2017Our Liner Notes (Justin Lee) was our DJ at our wedding as well as for my husband's 40th birthday party. He has a vast selection of music genres to accommodate every mood or crowd. He is also very diligent when comes time to download guest's requests and couple's requests in advance. Also understood when to change up the music genres, depending on the time and stage of the night. He has an extensive range of music selections, and could suggest to him a certain genre/theme for cocktail hour for example, and let him run with it. We had old French music, and he had a hefty repertoire of French oldies to suit our Paris themed wedding. He also took care of renting the audio equipment for himself, as well as microphones for speeches. He set up everything and broke down himself. Was one less item on our checklist to worry about.
