  Best wedding dj

  DJ Akil was an absolute sensation at our wedding!! He took the time to really understand our musical preferences and his ability to seamlessly blend different genres kept the dance floor alive throughout the night. What impressed us most was his exceptional skill in reading the crowd and adjusting the playlist on the fly to ensure that every guest was on their feet, which made it an unforgettable night filled with joy and non-stop dancing. DJ Akil, you are a musical genius, and we can't thank you enough for making our special day extraordinary :)

  Mr Akil D - Amazing DJ

  We had some pretty specific requests regarding music for our wedding, and Mr Akil D not only made it happen, but he did it with kindness, style and energy. He kept everyone on the dance floor until they kicked us out of the venue. So much positive energy and really pleasant to deal with. We'd be so excited to go to another event and find out that he is the DJ. Highly recommend, 10/10.

  Best Wedding DJ

  Seriously the best DJ ever! Mr. Akil D was super responsive leading up to the wedding. He took my ideas and vibes for the wedding and just executed them perfectly. Everyone kept telling us it was the best DJ they had ever seen at a wedding. I would absolutely recommend him!

  Cannot Recommend Akil More!

  Akil was such a delight to work with and made our day and night incredible. He made sure the ceremony music ran seamlessly, hyped everyone up with our intros, and made sure that the music at cocktail hour, during dinner and for the rest of the evening fit our vibe perfectly. The setup of our venue was such that the bar area was outside the main room so I was concerned that the dance floor would be empty, but that was absolutely not the case at all. He kept the floor packed all night and played something for everyone. We shut the place down with him and didn’t want it to end! He threw in some last minute requests for some niche cultural music as well which was so appreciated by us and our guests. I would 10000% recommend him for any event!

  Best DJ Ever!

  What can I say about Mr Akil D? The man is a genius. He was our DJ last Saturday and he was incredible. After a short conversation explaining what kind of music we like and were hoping to hear as well as going over our special songs, Mr Akil D out on a flawless performance at our wedding. He was fun, interactive, and personable and even spent some time out in the crowd with us when he could. Even when our party wound down to less than 15 people he stayed and kept us all going right up until the end with the energy of a DJ performing for 1000s of people. Would absolutely recommend him!!

  Incredible DJ! Highly Recommend - Everyone danced all night!

  Akil is amazing! From the moment we met him, he was professional and full of energy. He really wanted to get to know us, and what our wedding guests would enjoy. He was so versatile and well-rounded with his music knowledge. He was able to listen to our vision and make positive recommendations based on his experience. On our wedding day, he showed up on time and full of energy. He made announcements for us to introduce the bridal party and speeches, he pronounced everyone's name correctly which really meant a lot to us and he stayed on schedule. When it was time for dancing, he got everyone on the the dance floor and it lasted all night. We had so many people come up to us during are wedding day and for weeks after complimenting our DJ. Akil, worked so hard that night, he didn't get a break because the dance floor was full the entire time. He played a mix of everything we asked him to, and his transitions between songs were smooth and flowed perfectly. He is truly talented and can read the audience and knows exactly how to please the crowd with his music taste. If you're looking for someone who is easy to work with, who is trustworthy and can get the party started and keep it going all night, than Akil is your guy!

  Don't think, just book him NOW! You won't regret it!

  What can we say about Akil? Just, wow. My husband and I are fortunate enough to have known DJ Mr. Akil D for many years and even had the chance of working with him in the past for events/business. Never once did we have a complaint about him - or maybe that he was just THAT good? Can that even be a complaint? So it was a no-brainer when it came to deciding who would be our DJ for the biggest and most memorable day of our lives.
  
  Not only is he a multi-faceted DJ who can also host/MC, who knows how to work a room; but he's the utmost professional in his line of work. He made sure the vibe flowed and adjusted/pivoted without a hiccup. Things are constantly changing on the day of, and you want someone who will make sure the flow of the night is something you two shouldn't have to stress about. We didn't. Everyone had a blast, and big thanks goes to Akil for making sure everyone did.
  
  We cannot recommend Akil enough to our friends and guests who are planning a wedding, special event, or milestone. He does it all (WOW!). I know we'll have him again in another special event in the near future! Don't wait, book him now because we know how highly sought out he is!

  We cannot say enough great things about Akil. His levels of professionalism and flexibility are unmatched. We had a bit of a hiccup with another vendor which would be playing live music during the ceremony and when Akil heard he was ready to jump in last minute to fill in. He was on site hours prior to the start of the events making sure everything was perfect, some DJ’s will show up 10 minutes prior but not Akil, treats every wedding like his own and only accepts perfection.
  
  Akil was able to go with the flow and make changes with ease, if it was speeding up timing of sequence of events or noticing the crowd not responding well with certain music options, he was able to keep the party going to the very end.
  
  Akil treats every wedding as if it was his own, to ensure everything you imagine comes true and make it as stress-free as possible. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to go with Akil as our DJ, if we would rate him higher than 5/5 we definitely would.

  Akil rocked the crowd at my wedding reception. He came in early and gave himself extra time to set up.
  
  He was very easy to communicate with because he was very responsive from the beginning till the end.

  Highly Recommend!

  Akil was AMAZING - first off, he is insanely cool, extremely versatile, and very professional! He DJ'd our wedding the the Eglinton West Gallery on April 23, 2022, where we had a wide range of different age groups and musical tastes, and he was able to cater to them all! Great energy, great vibe, highly recommend!
