Backyard wedding event

Greg and Maria were wonderful to work with, extremely responsive and accommodating on the day when nerves can get the better of most people. They were seamless in their execution, set up and with navigating a garden space which they had not seen until the day of the event. Well done!

Amazing DJ for our wedding day!

Greg helped make our wedding day absolutely amazing! Essence was punctual, professional, and the music was great. We were so impressed and highly recommend his services. The price can't be beat either!

Perfect ambience the entire night!

Essence Sound and Lighting immortalized the vibe of our evening beautifully. We had a multicultural wedding and Greg and Maria captured the needs of everyone perfectly. It felt like we had known each other forever! They also really helped to pull elements out of us that helped to bring the entire day together in ways we couldn't have imaged. They saw things we didn't and would have missed. We sincerely appreciated the honesty and candidness. Maria was our MC for the night and did an incredible job! We could not have picked a better DJ/MC for the evening and they brought the night together. They are the cherry to a sundae and the bow to a gift. Nothing but elevation, professionalism and our feet are still numb from all the dancing and partying.

Greg and Maria were amazing!

We had a COVID wedding, after a season full of postponed weddings, we bared the pandemic and had an small and intimate outdoor wedding. Greg and Maria were very understanding and followed my music guidelines to a tee! Us and our guests had a wonderful time! Thanks for being a part of our special day!

Amazing company!

Greg and his partner were very easy to communicate with. They were very flexible and patient with any last minute changes that occurred throughout the night and their organization with the music playlist and emceeing was A+. Highly recommend for any type of event!

Last Minute Wedding ended up being a huge hit thanks to Essence Sound & Lighting! Kept the guests dancing all night long!

Greg & Maria were excellent! They kept our guests on their feet the whole night. They were super helpful and extremely patient considering I planned the wedding within three weeks and I had so many questions and kept adding and deleting from the playlists. Two wonderful beings and amazing MCs. I hope to host another big event soon to be able to work with them again.

Great experience all around!

Greg and Maria were great to work with right from the beginning and we are so glad to have them be part of our big day. Communication was excellent throughout the process and Greg was always very responsive. They were patient and accommodating with our requests and numerous questions. Most of all, they were just genuinely great people to work with, if that's what you're looking for, then these guys definitely will not disappoint!

Must have at a wedding

Essence was the best DJ experience I have seen at a wedding. Respectful, creative, kind, and fun.

Amazing DJ !!

Greg was my brother's DJ last year for his wedding, and we knew immediately that we wanted to hire him for our wedding (and am thrilled that we did!). Incredible

From my first phone call with them I could tell how passionate they are about weddings, that really encouraged me and made me more excited about my own wedding. Any point during the planning that I felt stressed, I always found that after talking with them about the details to our wedding, I got confidence. They provided dj services for our Polish/Japanese/Canadian wedding, and somehow managed to give everyone the music it took to get them on the dance floor. Really really amazing at what they do, thank you so much!
