With over a decade of experience as a DJ and more than 20 years as a performer both in and out of drag, Regina Gently (aka Reg Vermue) brings a dynamic and seasoned presence to every event. Having toured internationally as a DJ, singer-songwriter, member of indie bands, and cabaret artist, Regina offers a deep understanding of how to create unforgettable atmospheres for diverse audiences.
Founded in 2018, Drag Queen DJ was created to bring Regina’s club-honed DJ skills into a wide range of events, with a particular focus on weddings. Specializing in an eclectic mix of current and retro Top 40, pop, dance, disco, hip-hop, Motown, and rock, each set is thoughtfully curated in consultation with clients to reflect their unique tastes and vision.
Whether it’s a queer celebration or a straight wedding, Drag Queen DJ brings the same commitment: packed dance floors, great energy, and a vibe that feels like you—just a little more fabulous.
Based in Toronto and available to travel throughout the GTA and beyond, Drag Queen DJ is ready to turn any event into a night to remember (and recover from the next day).

Meet the team
I'm Regina Gently aka Reg Vermue.
I have been a drag performer and DJ for over 10 years in the Toronto area and beyond.
For years I was one of the resident DJ’s at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre for their Saturday club night, and at Madonna’s gym HardCandy during it’s two years in Toronto, DJ’ing for all manner of fitness classes.
As well I've DJ’d opening and closing events for the InsideOut Festival, all manner of Pride events, gay and straight weddings, film festival parties, First Thursdays at the AGO, and opening sets for indie bands, like Stars and Begonia.
Alongside DJ’ing I'm also a singer/songwriter/musician and have toured North America and Europe with my bands Light Fires, as a member of The Hidden Cameras and my former boy moniker Gentleman Reg. I've appeared in several films and music videos and have a one woman show that's been performed over 50 times across Canada! In and out of drag I have over 20 years of experience entertaining.
