About Town was super easy to work with, and Shane (DJ Matrimony) was fantastic the whole night! All our specific songs throughout the day and night were cued exactly right including some last minute requests. He did a great job matching the vibe on the dance floor and there wasn’t a single glitch/sound issue in any of the 3 locations (both indoor & outdoor) where he was set up at our venue. -

We had an amazing experience with AboutTown. Laura was so responsive and easy to work with. We booked our DJ package in January and almost at the last minute decided to book them for our MC needs. Laura reached out to their contacts immediately and assigned us DJ Matrimony (aka Shane) as our DJ & MC.
SHANE WAS SO GOOD ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ He was actually MC for another friend's wedding we attended in July and I'm surprised he didn't remember me as that drunk guest loudly requesting Becky G LOL!! He absolutely nailed it. My husband's niece absolutely carried the entire dance floor and Shane even welcomed him into the DJ booth to show him around and let him "DJ" a few times. Let's not forget one of our guests started a "potted plant dance"... where they went around the event floor, grabbed a bunch of small potted plants and danced with them over their heads?! 😹😹 AND SHANE JOINED IN CUZ HE WAS SUCH A GOOD SPORT. Our reception was such a blast. Thank you Shane for keeping the party on fire!!! -

Don't look any further - book with About Town! Communication before the ceremony was seamless with the About Town team and they made everything easy from the start. We had Cody as our DJ and he played the best music and he clearly was making sure that the songs seamlessly flowed into one another (rather than just playing a playlist). He knew what songs to play when the dance floor was dying, so we had an active dance floor from 9:00pm - 1:30am which is exactly what we wanted! He cued the music at the right time, and overall made the night so much fun.
We also had a photobooth from About Town and it was a hit! Everyone loved it, they had so many customization options for the booth itself, the font on the print outs, and for props for the photo booth. It was so easy to book both with them.
THANK YOU to the About Town Team! Seriously, if you are considering booking a DJ for an event then stop thinking about it and book with About Town. -

Our wedding planner recommended us About Town Entertainment for our wedding this past August, and we were assigned DJ Matrimony. We only have good things to say about his services. The questionnaire we had filled was followed to a tee. The music during the dinner was perfect, and once the dance floor opened, it did not empty until the end. He helped us make some announcements. He was super easy to talk to, and even offered to be a DD if we needed it.
We would not hesitate to recommend About Town to anyone needing DJ services. -

I would absolutely recommend About Town Entertainment. Shane was our DJ for our big, formal, Croatian wedding at the Terminal City Club. We had a huge variety of requests - from jazz swing, to Croatian music, to oldies, to 2000s hits - and they managed to capture everything we wanted on our day. The dancing was non-stop all night, and Shane was kind enough to play us a few extra songs after our time was up. -

I was having a lot of trouble finding a DJ for my wedding in Banff. One of my bridesmaids suggested asking her wedding DJ, Michael, for a recommendation. He said he couldn’t confidentiality recommend anyone but had done his sisters wedding at the same venue a couple years prior. I am sooooooo happy I went with about town. My wedding was a mix of 60 year old family friends and 20/30 year olds and I don’t think the music choices could have been better. Everyone danced all night and the ceremony went off without a hitch. Gosh I just cannot recommend them more. What a perfect day with a perfect DJ
