Tying the knot last Oct, we were incredibly fortunate to choose 5150 Entertainment and have the talented Shawn as our DJ. Amidst a whirlwind planning process, Shawn emerged as the clear standout among the 40 DJs we considered, ultimately claiming the top spot in our selection.

Well, a few issues came up. Our wedding party entrance song was right, but wasn't changed to our wedding couple entrance song so we ended up walking in to I'm too sexy instead of a romantic entrance song.
Our choreographed first dance song wasn't started on time and jumped ahead - twice - so I actually had to stop and walk over and help him with playing it, which then worked out well. He didn't want us to give him a play list because he wanted to feel out the crowd (despite us submitting songs at his request in advance) and we ended up having no one dancing most of the night so he then asked our wedding party to create playlists for him. He said he would give us $50 that night / put it in the card box for having made a referral for him that booked with him but he didn't follow through.
Wouldn't book with him again. Really nice guy, I'm easy going so I'm not upset or anything, but I wouldn't book with him again.5150 Entertainment's reply:
Hi Shannon I'm still trying to wrap my head around this review after 35 years this is my first four-star review I can only be as well as the couple prepares me you did pretty give us a song list of very eclectic music that wouldn't that that I tried to incorporate Into the Night the maitree Brad at your at the venue even told me goes they must have been a drinking crowd tonight because played good music and he actually asked me for my card if I could recommend my services to other couples I'm sorry I didn't get the $50 referral fee I have an administrator who would have sent you out that money at the end of the month which would have been October because your friends didn't sign with me till the week you were away on your your honeymoon so if you would like to forward me your email address I'll gladly give you that referral fee and thanks for the referral -

If you were looking for a wedding, DJ that will keep the party happening, look no further than hiring Shawn from 5150 Entertainment. It was so important to us to hire a DJ that would play music that would bring the whole wedding to life, keep the guests singing and dancing, and Shawn did exactly that. Our dance floor was packed until the very end of the night, and everyone was dancing from young to elderly. He was also incredibly responsive during the planning process and met with us a handful of times. We can’t recommend him enough.5150 Entertainment's reply:

I had the privilege of meeting with Shawn to discuss & do my daughters wedding. He was absolutely flexible with times. Understanding of all music genres and able to adapt to our needs. Shawn was amazing at the wedding, following the crowds energy to change up music and ensure the dance floor was full at all times with people dancing !!!! Great DJ for your party!
Shawn is a very professional DJ who is very easy to work with. He loves his job and takes it very seriously. He makes sure that he asks all the questions needed to be answered for the party to be as great as possible. We also asked him to bring in another person to run a karaoke room in another room. Dean is great as well. They both did an amazing job for our big day! -
