avoid Finer Events if you are doing a vinyl aisle runner at Casa Loma. They don't have much experience to install sub-flooring that is a requirement at Casa Loma. The result was very disappointing and the owner does not reply email after the event....

With a lot of emailing back and forth and a lot of design ideas Joelle was able to create the perfect dance floor for my wedding. She responded right away with any questions that I had and was so easy to work with. Thank you Joelle for designing the most beautiful and original dance floor for my special day!

In my review of Finer Events - I will first admit that I was a clueless bride! I had almost no vision whatsoever of what I wanted our wedding decor to look like and they had the additional challenge that our wedding was cross-cultural. I thus commend Finer Events and honestly believe that every stage of our wedding planning through to the day of the wedding was made easier because we chose to work with Finer Events. Instead of having to drive a significant distance to meet with them, Finer Events met with us in a luxurious private business club located in downtown Toronto- where we were able to plan the decor in a relaxing atmosphere and where I was always offered tea or coffee of my choice. I also really appreciated that Finer Events is a family business - working with daughter, mother and son meant that they always had a variety of ideas and opinions that we could discuss (as I threw random ideas at them!) and working though all the options ensured the overall quality of the service provided. Finer Events were very responsive and, most importantly, were willing to work with us to get the decor that we wanted at the budget that we were comfortable with. We had some last minute changes and they worked with us up until two days before the wedding to addresss all of them.
Our hall looked absolutely amazing the night of our wedding. We chose relatively understated flowers and decor and we received nothing but compliments on the elegance of the room. I had been quite skeptical about having a stage and a backdrop at the wedding, but Finer Events put one together that framed the room well and suited our personalities perfectly. The flowers on the stage were absolutely stunning - we had provided Finer Events with only a guideline of colour and they put togeher massive spring bouquets that surpasssed our expectations.
Joelle, Nabila and Joe - thanks for everything! You went above and beyond and we appreciated it sincerely.
