  Couples beware: Disappeared 4 weeks before the wedding!

  In October 2024, we had a phone consultation with them, where we ordered six dozen cupcakes and three different flavors, a cutting cake, and two dozen mini cupcakes. We were very excited after our tasting, these were quite amazing for vegan cupcakes. We asked if they wanted to deposit, we were told that was not necessary, and that someone would be in contact with us closer to the wedding date. (Date is Aug28th)
  
  On July 30, 2025, we reached out to them to confirm that we were still good to proceed as planned. My fiancé tried calling as well as emailing, but never received a response. We checked their website, and for a split second we saw that they were closed. It turns out, they shut down their bakery to move to a new location and “hope to open mid August”. They did not notify us, and the notice was barely on the website. If you saw it once, it disappeared after that.
  
  At this time, I was devastated. I was very much looking forward to their special specialty cupcakes and cake. For the last several months, I have done nothing but rave about cakes. Due to the severe lack of professionalism, I do not recommend them if you were looking for somebody reliable. I likely will never buy from them again.

  Such great cake and cupcakes!

  Our wedding coordinator Alex was amazing to work with and she made the most delicious cake and mini cupcakes that were also so gorgeous. Our venue even asked us where we got our cake!

  The best cake ever

  I ordered a cookie dough flavoured cake that everyone raved about all night. IT WAS SO GOOD! It was also beautifully set up and cannot wait to return to their shop just to keep reliving that "omg this cake" moment with their baked items.
  They were also incredibly easy to work with by being extremely prompt with returning my emails, and making the ordering process very easy to do!

  Delicious cake

  This was the best cake I've ever had and was exactly how I had envisioned it. Customer service was great and we chose to pick up our cake ourselves (we ordered a small one) although delivery was offered.

  Absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend

  Everyone absolutely loved our wedding cake and raved about it !!!
  It was one of the many highlights of our night.
  With all the allergies we have in our family.. (dairy, soy, nuts, sesame) it’s not always easy to accommodate and they made it work perfectly.

  Yummy from the First Bite

  I ordered I level cake and a bunch of mini cupcakes they were so accommodating for food allergies and with the guest count changing I had no problems changing my order. Delivery was nice and early and by the time we ate the cake it was delicious and everyone was raving about the mini cupcakes. Q

  Food cupcakes

  My wedding cake was prettier then yummy. They did a really cool ombré design on it. The cake itself, though, was kind of grainy. The cupcakes that went along with the wedding cake tasted a lot better; these were eaten first by our guests. I would still recommend Thimble cakes, because I think cupcakes are their thing. They might be working out some kinks in their wedding cakes. I'd eat their cupcakes anytime. Good proportion of icing to cupcake.

  ThimbleCakes was our vendor for our cake and our cupcakes at our wedding. They were so amazing to work with and I knew right away during our meeting that we would be very impressed with them. Our cake was gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. The cupcakes were a hit and all of them were gone by the end of the night. We chose to use our own plates and cake stands for our display but they have many that are available for rent that are gorgeous. We brought the leftover cake home and ate tons of it the week after the wedding. It was scrumptious. We got the lemon cake with the raspberry filling and the chocolate chip cookie dough for the top tier (we have saved it for our anniversary in the freezer) I would highly recommend ThimbleCakes. They make excellent cupcakes and cakes and they look so beautiful. It was so worth the price!

  The gluten-free NSA wedding cake was beautiful and delicious and made to order next day! So happy I could actually eat my wedding cake!!! :)
