  Delicious!

  The cupcakes were a great add-on to the cake we ordered. Very simple to order. Our cake was so good and everybody loved the cupcakes.

  So so yummy!

  We bought mini cupcakes in 3 different flavors and then ...or weddding cake was the lemon raspberry, OMG!!! It was the BEST cake I have ever eaten in my life!! And all the guests at ...or weddding said the same thing about the cupcakes!! We eil btw making this a yearly treat for sure, -they are well worth it!!!

  Single Tier Cutting Cake

  We just went with a simple cutting cake, but guests couldn’t wait to try a piece when they heard it was from Layers! Not only was it beautiful, but it was absolutely delicious.

  We had an wonderful wedding, thanks in no small part to Layers' amazing cakes. Everyone commented on how beautiful and tasty the cupcakes and cake were. Many guests came back for seconds, remarking on how fresh they were. The confections were a huge hit and they topped off a terrific day. They even gave us a huge discount when we had to pick up the order earlier than expected because they would be closed on our wedding day. We will always be grateful that we chose Layers as our baker.

  Jen was an absolute dream. She took the time to set down with us and go over all pricing options as well as brainstorm the overall look and feel we wanted from our cake.
  
  When we tossed the idea of having mini cupcakes she was onboard and able to create any flavour that we could imagine. Our guests were blown away and her work was above average.
  
  Layers would be my #1 recommendation when it comes to cakes/cupcakes on your special day.

  Jenn at Layers Cakes is lovely! Although my wedding was during peak season, I never felt like I was "just another customer". Jenn cared about what we wanted and held a delicious tasting session with SO many choices! My cake turned out exactly how I wanted and was so delicious! I received so many compliments on the look of my cake and definitely the taste! Layers is at the higher end of the price point in Halifax, but my cake was just a couple of hundred dollars more than the other quotes that I received from less known bakers, so I would go with them again.

  I selected Jen for our wedding cake as she had done the cake for my friend's wedding and did an amazing job. Jen was great at going through the design process with me, explaining all of the options and price points, no pressure to be overly elaborate. She even helped to recommend a justice of the peace to perform our ceremony!
  
  The cake looked absolutely gorgeous and was even better than I had imagined. We received tons of compliments on the cake and enjoyed eating it the next few days after the wedding! I would highly recommend using Layers !

  Jennifer was great! It was nice going into her little shop, not some huge bakery. A very personal feel. Delicious cake and icing, and very knowledgeable when it came to vegan baking, something that was very important to a few of my guests

Our guests said it was the best cake they ever had, and it looked truly amazing! She even brought it in and set it up to ensure that it was well placed at our venue. I would highly recommend Layers Cakes for any occassion!
