  Absolute perfection

  They were an absolute delight with arranging our taste testing and walking us through design ideas that really encapsulated what we desired.
  
  No doubt that they delivered (on time and in tact) exactly what we wanted, needed and to perfect taste. The cake was a hit!

  Fun Cake with a story

  Sam was wonderful at listening to the cute story we wanted to convey and translating it into an adorable cake, admired by many.

  Easy & delicious non-traditional wedding cupcakes!

  Instead of a traditional wedding cake, we decided to go with Zelda-themed cupcakes. They were a big hit, only problem was we ordered too many! (our own fault, not the vendors - our eyes were bigger than our stomachs XD) They did get eaten in the end, but we had tons leftover to give away. They were also able to accommodate dietary restrictions with gluten free cupcakes, so our family members that are celiac were also able to enjoy the desert. All in all, they were easy to order, cheaper than a full wedding cake, and most importantly addictively delicious.

  still a fan!

  We are longtime fans of Cakes Cove and their tremendous, geeky creations, and did not even consider another bakery for our wedding cake. Sam is an artist, and the team is incredible. We booked early, as May 4 is an important date in geek world, and I am so glad that we did. Sam & co planned a taste test for us based on the certainty that we wanted chocolate cake, and accommodating pickiness from the bride and the groom. All of the options were delectable, and their (now unfortunately flooded and ruined; RIP) location on St. Clair West showed so much care and attention to detail. It was a beautiful shop, and I can't wait to see their new location -- the level of attention to detail and flourishes to make it a welcoming space were truly notable and I'm sure their new location will be equally wonderful. The cake was, as expected, a beautiful work of art and a decadent delight.
  
  I was stressed by the lack of responsiveness to emails in the run-up to our wedding. I recognise that they are certainly dealing with a lot as they leave their flooded premises and move into a new location, and I was reassured that they planned to reach out the week before to coordinate delivery etc. I still feel that a week before the date is insufficient, especially as a number of emails went unanswered in the month+ beforehand, which led me to question whether or not there would be a cake at our wedding at all. Also, sorry, but the last week is busy enough, I do not really want to organise deliveries at that point.

  Absolutely amazing cake!

  I've never seen anything quite like CakesCove! The skill and creativity of the team there is unparalleled. My cake looked amazing and tasted even better! Thank you so much Sam and Cakescove! I will go back and use Cakescove for any and all occasions I need cake for! Absolutely amazing!!

  Level Up your Relationship with a cake from Cakes Cove

  I was part of a kickstarter fundraiser for Cakes Cove and knew that when we got married, we were going to go with them! We set up an appointment for tasting and just in talking with Sam, I found someone who I felt connected with. She got our unique vision right away and gave us several ideas that were not only cost effective within our budget, but were awe inspiring to our guests. Everything the shop made was delicious and very quickly devoured. We had a 16ft candy table which was consumed within minutes! Thanks Cakes Cove for helping us create our vision for our day!

  Highly recommended!!!

  The flavor, the style and the details were simply amazing.. Cakes Cove is getting all my business. The design that Sam came up with was stunning and my guests raved about how good it was! There was barley any left if that tells you how good is was.

  Cakes Cove Is Wonderful

  Greetings,
  
  We saw a few cake places, had several taste tests but had no idea Cakes Cove would be so amazing. Not only did they have the traditional white wedding variety, there were themed cakes which opened up a new realm of possibilities we hadn’t considered.
  
  The shop was clean, the owner Sam professional and we sat in our own private taste testing room.
  
  We’re very happy with our choice.

  The service I received at Cakes Cove was not just professional but fun and relaxing. Meeting Sam turned cake testing and coming up with ideas for my cake an amazing experience. The cake that was made was more than to be expected. Going to Cakes Cove for your wedding cake is highly recommended! You won't be disappointed.

  They do all my special events

  The service I got at Cakes Cove is unparalleled. Whether the event is big or small they come through with unforgettable cakes and desserts. They are so creative and I wouldn’t go to anyone else for my events, be it birthdays, weddings, or a just-for-the-heck-of-it cupcake. I can’t recommend Cakes Cove enough.
