Your wedding cake should be one of the easier decisions you make. We've built our entire process around making sure it is.

Cookie Jar Baking is a custom cake bakery at 159 Front Street in downtown Belleville, beside City Hall. We design, bake, and deliver wedding cakes across Belleville, Quinte West, Trenton, Prince Edward County, and Napanee. Since 2019, we've made hundreds of wedding cakes for weddings in the Quinte, GTA, and nearby regions.

It starts with a tasting

Nobody should commit to a cake they haven't tasted. Our tasting kits let you sit down together, at home and at your own pace, and try the flavours and fillings you're considering before you decide anything. If a combination doesn't work for you, far better to find that out now than on your big day.

Bring us a feeling, and we'll create designe

It all starts with a Pinterest board, a general theme, a photo of the room, or nothing but a colour you keep coming back to. We'll take it from there. Most couples arrive with a rough idea and leave with a design that suits their venue, their season, and the rest of the day they've been building.

We talk to your venue so you don't have to

This is the part couples tell us they didn't expect. We coordinate directly with your venue, planner, and photographer on the details that decide whether your cake arrives intact and photographs well — where the table sits, how long the cake waits before it's cut, whether the room is air-conditioned, when your photographer wants the cutting shot. You'll never have to carry a message between us and anyone else on your vendor list.

Delivered and set up, on your timeline

We deliver the day of and set the cake up ourselves. Tiered cakes travel with us rather than being handed off, because a cake surviving the drive isn't something to leave to chance.

And the rest of the dessert table

Late-night snack tables, treat tables, custom sugar cookies, and party favours your guests take home with them. If you want dessert to be a moment rather than a formality, tell us, and we'll build it out with you.

What to expect

• Wedding cakes start at $150 for a simple, smaller one-tier.
• A 50% deposit holds your date. We book first come, first served, and summer Saturdays go early — often six months out.
• We are 100% peanut-free. While we do offer nut-free for other tree nuts, we do use nuts in other goods and cannot 100% guarantee against traces.
• Gluten-free and eggless options are available.
• Delivery is $5 in Belleville and $40 to $100 in Prince Edward County, depending on your venue.
