This venue has definitely seen a lot of staff changes. When we first reached out, our initial contact (T) communicated entirely through email. Our first in-person meeting was actually with someone else (A), since our coordinator was off that day. That’s when we were told that T would be going on maternity leave the following month. Great.
We put down our deposit at the end of December, and then didn’t hear anything for months. When we finally got an update in April, we learned that a new coordinator (C) had been hired. Some of the information we’d previously been given didn’t line up with the venue’s actual policies, and a few extra fees hadn’t been mentioned. We had our wedding here and boy was there so many issues. Event ran smoothly! Tanja the event manager and her assistant Tamarind made sure everything was taken care of. We used the on site gazebo. Weather was perfect. Landscaping and seating was set up close to the event time to ensure everything was clean and perfect. The reception was in the Grand room overlooking the water and marina. Dinner service was swift. Food was great.
Overall wonderful place to have a wedding.
