Tapestry Hall is a wedding venue located in Cambridge, Ontario. This celebratory space is located in a 19th-century building that has been remodeled to reflect contemporary design aesthetics. It is an idyllic location to share your special day with those closest to you, framed by the beauty of historically reverent artistry.
Facilities and Capacity
Begin your day in Tapestry Hall’s elegant Mezzanine, space fully equipped with every amenity needed to prepare for your ceremony in style. You and your party can enjoy a designated VIP area, a professionally lit makeup station, washroom, and view of the foyer below. From the Mezzanine, you are also gifted with a view of Meander, a living sculpture piece that is embedded into the architecture of this location. This piece of art is constantly reinventing itself as it relates to its space in the building, changing with the seasons. This is certainly emblematic of how each celebration differs from the last, a piece of creative beauty unto itself. You can host your ceremony in the Foyer, allowing the open ceiling and natural limestone walls to give your service a soaring feel. After you have exchanged your vows, you can also host a cocktail reception in this area. Further immerse yourself in the artistic spectacle around you while mingling with your loved ones. Your reception meal and dancing can take place in the Main Hall, a breathtaking arena notable for its bold, dark decor. Elements of art deco design run through this event space, from the geometric wall mountings to the minimalist chandeliers hanging above. This space accommodates up to 650 guests, ideal for grander affairs. This room provides a beautiful backdrop for all of your treasured wedding portraits. For a smaller, more intimate reception, you might consider the Tap Room. This space also carries elements of retro decor, from its exposed beam ceilings to its large windows. Here, you have access to a fully serviced bar and private washroom. You can also enjoy the view of Foundry Brewing’s own brew room from here.
Immerse yourself fully in the culture of Tapestry Hall by collaborating with culinary director and executive chef Andrew Ellerby to create a bespoke dining experience for your big day. The culinary team at this banquet hall merges locally sourced ingredients with creative execution to produce meals that suit every palate. From hors d’oeuvres to appetizers, your special day will be rich in flavors your guests won’t soon forget.
