Great food and service

Nicole was our liaison and she has been very helpful with our many questions and bringing up a lot of details that we have missed during planning (where to direct the groom's party while the bride and the bridesmaids are taking photos in the garden). Food was tasty, and the dessert options are huge. 1000000% would recommend!

Exceptional experience/services!

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Morgan Creek Golf Course. The experience was amazing. Due to Covid, we postponed the wedding several times, and Kylie/Nicole always accommodated the changes. Prior to the wedding, we had many questions regarding the setup/menu/workflow etc, and they would reply to our emails quickly. They were also very detailed oriented when they helped planning for the schedule. They were flexible in terms of timeline and the things we wanted to do, we basically had the entire day to ourselves. On the day of, we received so many compliments, from the garden, the ballroom, the golf course overall, to the food! All of our guests enjoyed the venue/food! We also...

We would definitely recommend Morgan Creek Golf Course if you are looking for a wedding venue! You won’t regret it :)

Beautiful Venue

The wedding venue was absolutely gorgeous the day of the wedding. They were very accommodating with any changes we had due to COVID-19. Sherrie my day of coordinator was extremely helpful and went above and beyond making the wedding day perfect and helped sort out any rough patches during the rehearsal.

Perfect venue for a perfect day!

My husband and I cannot express how amazing everyone at Morgan Creek is! We had our wedding reception on Father's Day and it was wonderful!

Our guests have not stopped talking about how delicious the food was at our wedding, especially the chocolate fountain and the white chocolate creme brulee! Oh gosh...the creme brulee is to die for! Our guests keep reminiscing about the food and constantly reminding me and my husband of how we wish we had more time to eat a lot more! Service was impeccable and all within our budget too.

The good & the very bad...

So I definitely had some highs and lows with Morgan Creek. First the positives... The food is AMAZING. I got compliments all night and days after on how good the food was. The servers in the reception were also very good. That is about where it ends... First off, we had the ceremony and reception in the same room. The men entered from the side and the women from the back. For some reason they forced my mom through the side so she didn't walk down the aisle. She asked Morgan Creeks coordinator why she wasn't walking down the aisle and the coordinator said there was no music and it would look stupid. My DJ was playing music the...

So I definitely had some highs and lows with Morgan Creek. First the positives... The food is AMAZING. I got compliments all night and days after on how good the food was. The servers in the reception were also very good. That is about where it ends... First off, we had the ceremony and reception in the same room. The men entered from the side and the women from the back. For some reason they forced my mom through the side so she didn't walk down the aisle. She asked Morgan Creeks coordinator why she wasn't walking down the aisle and the coordinator said there was no music and it would look stupid. My DJ was playing music the whole time, so no idea why she said that. The coordinator was INCREDIBLY rude to my mom. She took that moment from my mom and trust me, my mother will never forgive her!! I had met with the coordinators from Morgan Creek a few times, and on every occasion told them I wanted the large dance floor. It was in writing, it was reiterated NUMEROUS times and yet when I got into the reception guess which dance floor was out.. THE SMALL ONE. Not much I could do at that point, but for future Morgan Creek Brides I would definitely make sure you get the big one and remind them the day of. Now onto their Bar. That was a joke. I had set up a toonie bar for the entire event from the ceremony to the reception. For some reason my guests were being charged full price after the ceremony. No clue why, but pretty embarrassing for me and my husband when people thought it was going to be a toonie bar. I had requested two specialty shots for my event, Burt Reynolds & Kamikazes. The Burt Reynolds ran out at like 9pm. The Kamikazes were a last minute add on for me, I sent the recipe in a rush and made a mistake and instead of listing 1 part vodka, 1 part blue curaçao, 1 part lime juice I wrote vodka instead of lime juice. This was my mistake, but even the coordinator told me after the fact that she knew the recipe was wrong. WHY WOULDN'T YOU CHECK WITH ME THEN. That shot is a basic bartending 101 shot, it was absolutely disgusting. Most people described it as windex. Also, they tried to use this iPad pay system which was not working very well and created a few headaches. Now, for the final bill. Before sending it to us for review they tried charging a card on file. They way underestimated our bar bill on the original charge, and honestly I'm not sure how accurate their bill was with how many issues they were having with this iPad system. After all that, especially as I was an out of season wedding and the only thing they threw in for me was some upgraded desserts.. they felt compensation in the form of a $75 gift card after we'd spent around $15,000 with them was suffice. Needless to say, I'd watch your back if you've already booked with the and proceed with caution if you are thinking about it.

My husband and I had the most perfect wedding at this venue! We absolutely loved it from day one. The wrap around patio was a great touch as it was a full harvest moon on the night of our wedding and we along with our guests were able to watch it light up the sky. The venue is breathtaking and the service is very good - a little slow with water but they made up for it with the clearing and buffet. Karen is an amazing person to work with and very organized along with her team. We had the best wedding and it would t have been half as good without our amazing venue!

We got married at Morgan Creek Golf Course and could not have made a better choice in our venue! Everything was perfect, from the beautiful, secluded garden area for the ceremony to the delicious delicious dinner buffet. The staff there are incredibly helpful and did everything in their power to make our big day better than we could have ever imagined. They were able to cater to all of our requests, which included setting out water and punch hours before the ceremony, extra chairs in the hallways, and customizing our menu. I would recommend Morgan Creek over and over again to couples getting married or people looking for an amazing site to host their event!

July 29 was the most beautiful day. We absolutely loved our wedding at Morgan Creek it was everything we wanted and more. The venue was beautiful the staff were very helpful and there for anything we needed. I highly recommend having your wedding at Morgan Creek. Thank you H&J

My husband and I held our wedding on May 20th, 2017 at Morgan Creek Golf Course and it was a fantastic experience. We couldn’t be happier with choosing Morgan Creek as our venue. We loved everything that the venue had to offer, from the food (oh gosh the food!!), to the view, to the beautiful lush garden where we held the ceremony. The venue was extremely affordable too. We were just short of 150 guests and together with the ceremony fee, the hor d'oeuvres, the buffet, the late night snack, and the alcohol (though a lot of my side of the family did not have a lot to drink), Morgan Creek costs us 15k. So many guests complimented us...

It was this attention to detail that really stood out for us. From Ricky, who helped set up the room the day prior and calmed my nerves the day before the wedding, to the Banquet assistant who brought out some hor d'oeuvres for me to enjoy (knowing I would be too busy to have grabbed some myself). Even the servers were all efficient and friendly. Service was impeccable. And of course, it all boils down to our wonderful banquet manager, Jeremy. Jeremy answered all my emails patiently and readily. We felt completely at ease knowing that Jeremy was the one who would help oversee the event. Every time I communicated with Jeremy, he understood my vision and made sure it happened. It really took a load off of our stressful planning and we are super grateful for his experience and hospitality. We were so taken care of and I would not hesitate to recommend Morgan Creek Golf Course to anyone planning their special day!!
