Located in Edmonton, Alberta, La Cité Francophone is an elegant and functional banquet hall that specializes in hosting unique weddings and special events. In 2010, construction of this cultural centre was finalized, the French Canadian community of Edmonton had a meeting place with the ideal facilities to create successful events. It also includes160 parking stalls on site and is wheelchair accessible.

The facilities found at this wedding banquet hall include a full service restaurant/ café and bar called Café Bicyclette, 3 multi-purpose halls (adaptable to the size of your event due to their movable walls), rotunda, theatre, outdoor furnished patio, open terrace and pop-up patio tents. La Cite Review

I had my wedding at La Cite on July 31st, 2021. The ceremony had a bit of a delay due to technical issues but Nawal worked hard to try and solve it, I really appreciated the effort! I really loved the ability to have both the ceremony and reception in one location. We also had our photos done at La Cite and they turned out great! Nawal was amazing to work with and quick to respond to my many questions.

The venue was great, event coordinator was not

The event coordinator change three times over the year that we worked with the vendor. The newest coordinator did not seem well trained, and working out the bill with her was a nightmare, she originally over charged us by over $2000! So make sure you read through that contract and bill well. Otherwise the venue was great, the day of coordinator was fantastic and the food was amazing. Everyone loved the venue space, and the kids loved all the area to play in.
