We recently had our wedding at Galt Country Club, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We were fortunate to have amazing weather on our wedding day, which allowed us to fully enjoy the venue’s beautiful outdoor spaces. The ceremony site is absolutely stunning, with the arbor overlooking the Grand River creating a breathtaking backdrop for our vows. We also received countless compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the outdoor cocktail hour patio. It was the perfect setting to relax, mingle, and take in the scenery.
The reception space was ideal for our 100-person wedding. It felt spacious without being too large, and the many windows overlooking the golf course filled the room with natural light and provided beautiful views throughout the evening. One of the biggest advantages of the venue was the flexibility they offered. Since Galt only hosts one wedding per weekend, we were able to come to the venue the afternoon before our rehearsal to set up all of our decorations and then return on Sunday to clean up and bring everything home. Having that extra time significantly reduced the stress of the wedding weekend.
From our initial walkthrough to the big day itself, Preet was incredible to work with. She was quick to respond to emails, answered every question we had, and provided helpful guidance throughout the planning process. On the wedding day, Preet and her team went above and beyond. They checked in to see what finishing touches still needed to be completed and made sure everything was set up exactly as planned. Preet’s coordination and attention to detail from the start of the ceremony until the end of the night were remarkable and kept the entire day running seamlessly.
The food was another highlight of the evening. We received so many compliments from our guests, with multiple people telling us it was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding. The quality of the food and service exceeded our expectations.

I had the unique experience of officiating a wedding for the children of friends and being part of their dinner and celebrations.
The outdoor wedding space and reception area is beautiful. Preet did an incredible job of communicating with the DJ, Photographers, and myself to be sure the wedding processional went perfectly. She provided visual cues to me from an area hidden from guests. Everything went smoothly with Preet’s coordination.
The dining hall was beautifully set up, the service was friendly and attentive and every course of the meal was excellent. The bar staff were friendly and efficient.
The grounds and atmosphere are amazing and add to the overall excellent experience.

This venue is gorgeous and Suzanne was fantastic. The venue looked gorgeous when all was said and done (it's beautiful with no decor but the decor made it feel unique to us) and Suzanne always answered my emails in a timely fashion. We also had an indoor ceremony and the room was flipped impressively fast. I cannot say enough good things, the price included an open bar and they all went above and beyond the call of duty for everything. Have your wedding here it is a magical place with food that's to die for, guests have been messaging me for days raving about it. 10/10 would get married here a hundred times if necessaryGalt Country Club's reply:

For our wedding we worked with Suzanne at the galt country club and we can’t recommend her enough. She put up with so many questions and emails and phone calls from me in the weeks leading up to our big day. Everything ran so smoothly and we were so thankful to have Suzanne there. She even looked like she was having fun and not just ‘working!’ The food was amazing, the venue was beautiful, the outdoor ceremony space was so nice and the service staff were great as well. We had no complaints about our day at all!! We would definitely recommend GCC!Galt Country Club's reply:

September 2022
We had an amazing wedding day at GCC. It was beautiful and the staff there are so kind and helpful. Suzanne was very responsive and helpful planning the day and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The food was excellent! We didn’t get to try the appetizers but the dinner and late night pizza and poutine were delicious. We love our photos at the venue especially the ones down by the river. The bridal suite was large which is great as others I’ve seen are very small. The only hiccup we had was I don’t think they were prepared for how much our guests drink and dance (to be fair they are a wild crowd). The bar was backed up and the dance floor very hot (although it was a hot night). Overall an amazing day we had so much fun. Another plus was the social membership, we love the golf course! -

We just had our wedding at GCC, and it was better than I could have ever imagined! The staff were incredible and helped us so much through the day, and made everything go so smooth. But a huge thank you goes to Suzanne, for making the wedding planning so simple and had everything run like clock work that day. You took the stress away and let us enjoy the moments that we'll remember for the rest of our lives. The grounds were stunning and the outdoor ceremony was just so beautiful. We were married at GCC on October 23, 2021. Our original venue wouldn't accommodate us with a new date when we had to postpone from 2020, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we could not be happier with how our wedding day went.
During the planning process, Suzanne was beyond responsive and answered all of my very many very specific questions. The rehearsal dinner was great for getting an idea of how the day would go, and the food was fantastic.
On the day of, the room for getting ready was made available as early as we needed it, and Suzanne checked in on us regularly to answer questions, and bring us drinks and lunch. At no point during the day did I feel like I had to stress about any details and everyone was incredibly accommodating to small last minute tweaks and answering questions throughout the day.
The ceremony area and the reception hall are both absolutely beautiful spaces. We heard from many guests how much they loved the venue, but most of all everyone raved about the incredible food.
I can't say enough good things about the experience and if we could do it all over again we would have booked GCC to begin with. Stunning venue, amazing food, and unbeatable service from Suzanne and the rest of the team at GCC. -

Dream Wedding
We just celebrated our wedding day at the Galt Country Club after 2 postponements due to covid. I can’t even begin to explain how stressful this the whole situation was. Suzanne, the wedding coordinator was absolutely fantastic and handled everything with ease. She worked with me to ensure she met all my needs and trust me there was a lot. Suzanne was quick to respond to my emails and even called a few times to check in to see how we were doing. The venue is beautiful they recently installed a bunch of chandeliers in the room which made it even more beautiful. The staff are very friendly. The food was AMAZING
Especially the roasted beef tenderloin it was perfectly cooked. The late night table was a hit can’t go wrong with Pizza and Poutine. Hats off to the Chef. 3 Days later and we’re still receiving compliments about how good the food was. The grounds are amazing for photos we even got taken out in a golf cart. You honestly can’t beat the price for what’s included. I HIGHLY recommend this venue. Thank you Suzanne and GCC staff for making our day magical.
