We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than Gallagher's Canyon Golf Club. From the moment we arrived, the venue went above and beyond our expectations. The setting was absolutely gorgeous - we had a winter wedding and the snow on the grounds made everything feel so picturesque and magical.
Inside, the banquet and restaurant spaces were immaculate: beautifully maintained, spotless, and elegant. The service was just as impressive. Every staff member was kind, welcoming, and incredibly efficient, which made the entire day feel calm and effortless.
The food was truly delicious and the selection was outstanding, with options for all tastes. The kitchen was amazing when it came to dietary needs. We had a long list of dietary needs (everything gluten-free, plus multiple allergies), and they were so thoughtful and thorough, never once treating it like an inconvenience. We also loved being able to create a custom bar menu - it felt very personalized and our guests raved about it.
Gallagher’s was also flexible and supportive with our plans to bring in live sound equipment, and they were very adaptable with our set-up and tear-down requests. Logistics were smooth from start to finish, and they were very accommodating with our band and vendors.
A special, massive thank you to the events manager, Ruthanne. She was organized, flexible, and genuinely easy to work with, and she made the entire planning process feel fun and effortless. She struck the perfect balance of professional and warm, and her attention to detail was so appreciated. We didn’t use a wedding planner, but honestly, we probably would have needed one without her. On the day of, she went above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly.
Gallagher’s Canyon was an exceptional wedding venue, and it was such a meaningful choice for us - the space, the service, and the overall experience exceeded every expectation. We recommend it without hesitation. -

Gallagher's canyon was our wedding venue for our wedding in early July. From more than 1 year ago when we virtually toured the venue, to our wedding day, Ruthanne and her team at Gallagher's canyon have been professional and helped make our special day unforgettable.
The entire day was amazing, but it was the little things that truly elevated our experience. For example, after the ceremony, we had stayed behind to take many pictures with our wedding party. My wife and I were being carted to a new location to take more photos with our photographer. Ruthanne made sure the golf cart stopped by the wedding reception, and she had taken initiative to get us some of the appetizers from our cocktail party, as she knew we wouldn't be there in time to get to enjoy them. This is just one of many little touches that added to our experience.
The venue itself is in an amazing location with beautiful scenery. The staff were all incredible and so friendly. And I got to play the actual golf course the day before which was also amazing.
Overall, we would highly recommend Gallagher's canyon as a wedding venue choice. Thank you again to Ruthanne and your team for your hard work and helping make our day special! -

Simply incredible!
My husband and I got married here in August 2024. I can’t say enough good things about Ruthanne and all the other staff at Gallagher’s.
Ruthanne is clear and prompt with communication and was so great to work with. Wedding planning can be stressful, but she made it as stress-free as possible and gave lots of good suggestions.
We certainly didn’t expect our wedding day in August to be as cold and rainy as it was (especially since every day before and after was hot and sunny!). Ruthanne and her crew were flexible and so helpful in dealing with Mother Nature’s curveball. They were able to turn the reception area into a ceremony site at the last minute, and then reset it in time for dinner. They also shuttled my husband and I, our wedding party, and our dogs to the outdoor ceremony site so we could get some pictures out there.
The prices were very reasonable for a weekend wedding in peak season, and not having to worry about catering, liquor licenses, bartenders, and clean up made everything a lot less stressful. The venue is clean and modern, with beautiful views of the golf course. We didn’t even need any décor aside from centrepieces. While we didn’t get to have our ceremony there, the outdoor site is so very gorgeous too!
According to our guests, the buffet dinner was amazing, as was the poutine bar. The bartenders did a great job keeping up with the crowd too. Special shout out to all the staff who went out of their way to track down ginger tea and soda crackers for me while I was ill and fighting for my life all afternoon/evening.
Overall, I can’t recommend this venue enough. Never getting married again, but if I did it would be here! -

First off, Ruthanne is AMAZING. I saw a lot of good reviews about Gallaghers and Ruthanne who plans the weddings; they are all on point. She is kind, genuine and so organized. Things went off without a hitch. It was raining for our ceremony and she made sure everyone had umbrellas, offered to wait out the rain etc. The food at the receptions was so good too, and I'm a big cook, so I know food. Gallagher's is THE place to get married. -

The venue was amazing, the staff were wonderful and the food was delightful.
Ruthanne was a pleasure to work with. It did rain on the wedding day but she was prepared and it didn't dampen the mood. She made the process easy and smooth. -

This wedding venue has it all! Coming from over 7 years in the wedding industry, I can confidently say that Gallagher's will make your experience fabulous.
The reception venue - a nice space with sweeping golf course views - very little decor is needed! I did a few rentals including chair covers, charger plates, runners, napkins and centerpieces that really added to the wow factor.
The ceremony venue - they provide the nice white folding garden chairs for the ceremony, with beautiful canyon views on the golf course.
The food - all the canapes we chose were sooo good! Even as the wedding party, we had some extra time after photos and tried them all. We chose the carvery buffet and it was delicious, guests raved about it. (I know food quality/quantity is important and you will not be disappointed!)
The service - FANTASTIC! With only a few emails and a meeting with Ruthanne, all the details were settled. She made everything such a breeze and was a dream to work with. Jack and the banquet team ensured dinner onwards went smoothly and Jack was always one step ahead.
