L'Auberge Saint-Gabriel

The place looks even better than online photos/video. Get a good florist, photographer, perhaps add some light (we strung up some additional fairy lights) and it will look MAGICAL. The venue is connected to the Spring Hill Suites hotel which makes life much easier for everyone.

In terms of service, the staff was exceptional. From pre-event discussions with Valerie, to bar and wait staff, everyone was incredibly professional and made our guests feel welcome. One note, the venue has a lot of stairs so keep in mind if your guests have mobility issues. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

The communication with the Auberge was flawless. We met in person the first time to talk about the basics. Over the following months we wrote them so many mails with questions and they got all answered politely and accurately in 24h. We had a trial dinner for our menu and I wasn’t too happy with the vegetarian dish. The Auberge responded with understanding and offered me additional vegetarian alternatives. Great customer service.
Before the big day we went over the details once more in person and it just went flawless on the wedding.
The food was delicious, the staff friendly and quick and the venue itself is just stunning ( Salle Truteau )

We had the most wonderful wedding at the Auberge St-Gabriel this fall. We couldn't have picked a better venue in Montreal. Planning a wedding there was made so easy/convenient with their event planner. From the value to the quality of service, quality food, venue, everything was PERFECT. I would recommend this place to everyone! All of our guests said it was the BEST wedding they had ever been to. ;) (Still waiting for photographer photos)

L'endroit est féérique et avec quelques décorations, il est possible de faire une ambiance magique!

Such a beautiful venue, food was absolutely delicious, they were very accommodating and the process was stress-free. Loved everything about it :)

The venue is stunning, the food was incredible, the wait staff and bartenders were absolutely amazing, working with Valerie was so easy and stress free. Our only complaint is that we were promised a Maitre-D for the day of to make sure everything ran smoothly, and unfortunately he did not do his job to the fullest. Our floor plan which was carefully thought out and planned out was not followed; so instead of stations of food around the room for people to discover, there was a lineup at a buffet :(, instead of cozying up by the fireplace on couches, they were shoved way to the back of the room and no one used them. Instead of a space for dancing, the lineup for the food was RIGHT in front of our band and so no one danced :( the flowers also only came out when I noticed no one had them RIGHT before walking down the aisle, and the homemade desserts for the dessert table came out randomly and sporadically while people tried to figure out where it all was.

If you go with this venue, you will not be disappointed, but do yourself a favor and do not depend on the Maitre-D for anything and instead just hire a day-of wedding planner. If I could go back (or knew that this was the case) I would've.
