We were told by everyone that Hart House is an amazing venue and that Sonja is a rockstar coordinator and they lived up to the hype! The venue is stunning, the staff are ridiculously nice, the food is Michelin quality (we are still getting comments about how good the food was from guests), and Sonja is just the best person to work with for your wedding. Sonja was always responsive to our emails and was such a great help in the beginning when we were just learning how to plan a wedding. During the wedding, staff made sure that my husband and I were always fed, bringing up some canapes for us in the bridal suite after the ceremony when we took a few minutes to ourselves and they brought up some fries to the birdal suite for the groomsmen and birdesmaids before the ceremony which we gobbled up real quick! The facility itself is amazing and clean -- they even had a bathroom just off the tent that is big enough for the bride to fit in with her dress and a bridesmaid! If you're looking for a venue that gives you that garden party vibe then look no further! You won't regret having you wedding at Hart House with the stunning view in the background and the amazing service! -

Hart house restaurant exceeded all our expectations for our wedding day on August 30! They were so professional, quick with responses, great with the buffet and cocktail hour service, and just all around amazing! Sonja was so willing and helped us with so many logistical questions and even a few opinion questions regarding vendors and setup! It was an amazing experience from start to finish that brought our vision to life! Thank you so much to Hart House staff and Sonja for making out wedding day the best day ever! -

We had our wedding at Hart House with the idea that in the event it rained we had a backup option. On the day of the wedding it ended up raining. With Sonia's quick planning we were able to move to Plan B. A lot of venues we looked at didn't have tent options or we had to source it ourselves. With Hart House they had a backup plan. Big thank you to Sonia for making our wedding perfect. -

Beautiful and gorgeous venue
We had an amazing time celebrating our wedding here. Sonja our venue coordinator is amazing. She has done a wonderful job helping us out during the time when our event needed to be postponed. Our guests loved the food and kept complimenting how beautiful the tent, the view and how perfect everything was! It was such a special time for us and we loved everything minute of it. Everything just came together so smoothly. They are truly experts at what they do here. We are so glad we picked none other than Hart House. -

Couldn't have asked for anything better!
Sonja at the Hart house made our wedding planning easy and our experience incredible and memorable. We would not go back and change it for anything else.
Sonja's experience goes a long way and she is so calming, caring and professional. We are so grateful To have chosen Hart house for our special day. Hart house is so beautiful, you need minimal decor or none at all. All our guests said our wedding was the best wedding they've been too, and they all loved their meals so much, a month later and everyone is still raving about it. We couldn't be happier! -

We had our wedding at Hart House this past weekend and everything exceeded our expectations. They accommodated our every request, set up meetings to go over our decisions, helped for hours on the day of with set up and directing our vendors so we didn't have to worry, and made us feel confident that everything would run smoothly.
The food - We had several guests tell us that the food that was served at the buffet was the best wedding food they had ever had! It was amazing. We had four vegan guests as well and they were served their own entre - which was delicious as well! The bar made amazing signature drinks and everything went seamlessly with dinner and dessert. Everyone was fed very quickly and no one felt rushed.
The view - The location, right on Deer Lake, was stunning! We had amazing weather so got to enjoy an outdoor ceremony with the lake as a backdrop. The garden and lawn were kept perfectly as well.
The staff - Sonja and the night of help were amazing. Sonja worked with us since day one of looking at the venue and reassured us with every decision we made. She was quick to respond and figured out a solution to every need. She made us feel so welcome on the day of too and helped all of our vendors get set up. The night of help was there making sure we enjoyed everything all night, everyone was attentive and so friendly.
Venue - The venue was perfect because it is all in one place so your guests don't have to travel around from ceremony to reception. They have a plan B as well if it rains, and it would be just as beautiful inside the tent. They also have a bridal room to store belongings and get ready in which was perfect. The reception tent is heated as well, even with our end of September wedding we were warm all night.
All in all I would highly recommend Hart House - we didn't have one bad experience!Hart House Restaurant's reply:

Dream wedding venue
We got married here and are so happy with our decision! Sonja was a gem to work with—she is responsive, dependable and pleasant all around. She even had her husband help with a pickup on our wedding day, and was all around helpful and flexible which made our remote planning much easier.
The one suggestion I’d give for any couple interested in this venue is to see the big tent in person in the beginning stage of your planning to get a better idea. Since we decided on the venue in fall when they were taking it down and we were planning from California, we never saw it in person until our rehearsal. It really is a blank canvas, and seeing it early in person would really help with deciding how much floral and decor to get (I wish we had gotten a little more). The view of the lake and the heritage feel of the restaurant are stunning, though. The lawn was also beautifully manicured. We had outdoor furnitures and lawn games set up, which were a big hit with our guests. We also heard great things about the food from our guests.
