25 Jan, 2025The story of our wedding
Our wedding was a magical celebration that beautifully blended vintage glamour with a touch of unruly romance, drawing inspiration from Peaky Blinders and Bonnie and Clyde while embracing the extravagance of The Great Gatsby. Held at the Hangar Flight Museum, the venue required little decoration, as the stunning aircrafts and historic atmosphere created a beautiful backdrop. The museum staff ensured everything went smoothly, making the day stress-free, and one of the highlights was capturing photos inside the planes, which delighted my husband.
Following the ceremony, we celebrated in the cozy and stylish Founders Lounge at Heritage Park. Although we initially dreamed of hosting our reception in Gasoline Alley, we discovered that the Founders Lounge was the perfect fit for our micro wedding, complete with a private bar and patio. The food was exceptional, catering to all tastes and accommodating dietary restrictions with ease, which was deeply appreciated by our guests.

I was pleasantly surprised that we could create such a lavish and personalized experience for under $15,000, showcasing that a beautiful wedding doesn’t have to be extravagant.
Ultimately, our wedding was more than just a day; it was an unforgettable experience filled with love, vintage charm, and heartfelt celebration—every moment felt uniquely ours, and we wouldn’t change a thing.
