16 May, 2026The story of our wedding
Our wedding day was everything we could’ve dreamt of and more(even with the heavy snowfall warning). We stayed at Spring Creek Vacations, which set the tone for the entire weekend. It was calm, scenic, and full of excitement as everything came together.
The morning started with getting ready, laughter, and those quiet little moments that made it all feel real. Our photography was captured by Tracey Hey Babe Photography, who was truly amazing to work with and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We did part of our photos at the beautiful Malcolm Hotel, which tied in perfectly with our Scottish tradition and gave us such a timeless backdrop for some of our favourite images.
Before the ceremony and again at the end of the night, Alpine Limousine and Tour shuttled our family and wedding party, keeping everything running smoothly and stress-free.
Our ceremony and reception were held at the Bill Warren Training Centre, which transformed into the most incredible wedding space. The bar service and hosting were handled seamlessly, letting us stay present and enjoy every moment.

The dry sparkler entrance and guest dances added such a magical touch, and the digital photo booth with props had everyone laughing right through the evening.
The food from Bow Valley Gourmet was absolutely perfect. With prime rib, puréed potatoes, and steamed vegetables that everyone is still talking about. Our cake and cupcakes were created by Natty Cakes, featuring a beautiful vanilla and Biscoff-filled two-tier cake alongside an assortment of cupcakes that were quickly devoured.
We couldn’t have pulled it all together without Everlasting Impressions, who handled planning, set-up, and take-down, guiding us through the entire day and more! Lisa and Shannon were our absolute saviours, keeping everything calm, organized, and running exactly as it should.
Our videography was captured by Mr Rex Studio, who documented everything from getting ready to our first looks so beautifully. Working with them felt effortless, and we can’t wait to relive the day through their lens.
The finishing touches made everything feel complete: bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres from Deevine Petals were stunning, while glassware and cutlery from Modern Rentals elevated every table detail. The gorgeous gold Chiavari chairs from Events and Co tied the whole look together perfectly.
Looking back, it wasn’t just a wedding day, it was a full experience filled with love, laughter, and the most incredible team of people who helped bring it all to life.
